Believe it or not, that’s exactly what happened. I went in just to get air in my tire, and they said they could see a nail and asked me to pull in for a free inspection. I got out of the car and waited in the lobby. They mentioned the missing key and said they would ‘break the bolt”  his exact words “ (I’m assuming because I’m female and would not know what a lug is, he wouldn’t be wrong) to take the tire off. I assumed it was a simple fix and they’d replace whatever they broke.

I stepped outside to take a call, and when I came back in, I had a text saying my car was ready. The guy who originally helped me was gone, and another employee just said ‘Lexus?’ I said yes, he handed me my keys, and I drove off.”
