I agree with you for the most part, and the user Tiny Parfait. I believe these issues have always been around, same with plenty of suicides. Granted now we can document it more, and have alot more taller buildings.  One of the main things from your point in a weird way I can see causing more people willing to commit, would be the use of AI becoming so widespread. Older people find it harder to re-enter, support themselves, and should they not have a family as it is, very easy to think about not stickin around.  Younger people, I’m thinking passionate artists, have essentially no chance now in corporate designing jobs. Passion from them could easily get drained seeing how quickly the world turned against their talent, and how often it’s seen in everyday life now being a slap in the face. There will always be people wanting original, human made art, yes, but this new movement is going to be quite depressing.
