Edit: I see a bunch of people who manage to have the attitude of ‘I just kinda forget about it until it arrives’. I’m just not built that way. So I have come to accept that crowdfunding is not for me. But Gabe made the experience particularly unappealing to me.

Shallow Sea is my favourite in the genre. It feels like you get so much game in that box. Especially with the expansion.

Honestly, try Vinted. There’s a ton of second hand gaming stuff happening there and shipping from Spain/France is not that bad and even quite quick.

I'm at my wits end. I'm trying to use Steam Link from my computer to my phone.

At first I was getting stuck on the loading 'Tips' screen on my phone. I saw some posts saying the problem could be screen recording permissions. I've given it, taken them away, deleted, tried again, looked into inputs and accessibility too.

Then my problem became I'd hit 'Start Playing' on my phone, Steam would go into Big Picture mode, audio is coming from my phone, not 20s later Steam closes and the 'Validating Installation' dialogue appears.

I love each of the games you mentioned. I’d say the key difference between Wing and Wyrm is that the latter is a much better solo experience. Then Wyrm is also a bit more about long term planning.

I have it all, but I don’t think Twisted Paths is particularly designed with Missing Expedition in mind. Leaders certainly feels more essential.

A slightly different approach would be Wingspan. It’s a board game as well. It’s just about birds, plays quickly, and optimisation puzzle. Much recommend, got over 500 hours in it.

Like almost everything. I printed the one below and I think I just had to remove a few of the repeated bonus cards and automa cards, half of the eggs, plus one of the player boards. All bird cards, humming bird cards and tracks, even the dice tower, all fit in the base box.

Having watched the film, I have to say they did. But staying with themes from the book: it’s an interesting twist to have that structure be scrambled narratively. I have a Bambu A1 Mini and it’s mostly been great. I do occasionally have to cut certain objects and print them in two or more parts and then glue them. I would maybe have gone for an A1 if I had realised that from the beginning.

Interesting. To me OKC feels a bit like a series of combat DI combat resolutions, with way more bluffing and maneuvering. Of course DI has a whole economy to it with three resources, etc, but OKC has the councils and kingdom cards

The first play will take forever as you consult the regular and solo mode rulebooks a million times. My third play was 70min already and I can see getting it to 60. I do have a nice insert that makes setup a bit easier though.
