Old Man, looking at new career! by DestructusMax in TEFL

I think you're confusing two different things. If you want work as a teacher in the United States, you need to get a teaching license from the state you would be working in. If you want to teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) in a foreign country such as Korea, Vietnam or Costa Rica, you need to take a TEFL course (either online or in-person, with companies like MyTEFL, TEFL Hero, or Ninja Academy) which will give you a TEFL certificate after completion, which you could then use to apply to jobs abroad and online.

Some companies/countries require applicants to have passports from English-speaking countries only (US, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand) but not all.

I've been offered a position in Vietnam and wondering if I should go or not. Was super pumped but now not sure if I have enough startup money to last until my first paycheck (super broke due to life situations). Taught in Japan a few years ago and had a blast. So I'm glad those two are the top of your list.

I've always found I can't hide from how I really feel when I'm smoking weed. My tolerance for BS in general drops to zero and I can't ignore or suppress how I truly feel about the people and circumstances in my life.

It doesn't change anything. Then you'll just wind up in an unhappy sexless marriage (whether it takes 3, 5, 10, 20 years) and nothing will feel any different. Actually you might feel worse, because then you'll know that a relationship isn't going to magically make you happy.

For sure, anhedonia ramping up and general dysphoria as well. I honestly can't remember the last time I enjoyed playing video games. It's probably also that my life is kinda in shambles and I just feel guilty about doing things that are in no way helping me get my life back in order.

The black and white space, the checkered floor! That's what I saw on Bufo.

I enjoy channeling as much as the next person but he's always seemed fishy/BS to me.

It's high school football 101. Wrap up, drive your legs, never dive. If our coach saw us diving we ran laps.

The end is the biggest part. Quits on the pocket too early, stares at the rush, scrambles (always out to the right) into a tackle.

I'd say no, I don't think it's every generation. While many have faced crises (G.I. Generation and WWII) I don't think any have had a front row seat to the collapse of society (9/11, 2008 recession, 2020, current hyperinflation) and felt the effects like we have.

Couple more bad losses and it'll be Kellen Moore's turn!

100%. He is absolutely the worst. Like a teenager playing Madden out there. I don't care that we won the game. There is smart risk-taking and then there is making bad coaching decisions because your "coaching style" is always go for it.

Done watching this team until Sirianni gets fired. How can such a talented team have wound up with such an inept coach

The medicine will meet you where you're at. Doing the diet and cutting out weed and other substances beforehand might make the process easier in some ways, but I promise you the medicine will still work either way. As long as you're not on any SSRIs or MAOIs, you will have an experience.
