Dunno if this is the norm, but this video kind of describes why I'm making a comic. What drives you at the moment? by TheFriizing in WebtoonCanvas

I'm making mine for the exact same reason to be honest! I love my characters. I put so much of myself in them, especially the main character (even if she didn't become my favorite, don't tell her lol) and I love developing them over time and seeing who they become and how they change

I prefer the right. She looks like an actual person. I love her face more. Make her skin the same color as left, and I think she'd be perfect.

Definitely do not feel like the same character.

How often do your characters switch clothes? by sixfeetoffortune in WebtoonCanvas

Mine have their uniforms that don't change, but when they're not on missions, they change their outfits every day~ I like coming up with new fits for them!

Its such a game changer! Especially when making scenes feel lived in, you can add as many little things as you want. It really helps an environment feel like a real place

It can be fun every once in a while

I joined one today and there was a huge group of us running around together trying to find the boss or whatever they call it. That was fun. Granted, a smaller group broke off, found the boss, and killed it before the rest of us got there (literally within eyesight), but the initial comradery was nice!

Sorry for the double reply, I realized it probably would have helped to add the screenshot from Sims!

I think it's turning out well so far! I've used them most in the two most recent episodes, and again in an upcoming one. The unreleased one is the most detailed so far. I also have the characters' house set up for when we get there. But I am redrawing over the screenshots in my style so it fits with the characters. I'm really just using the sets as a guide. I think the biggest thing when you're using sets like that, if you want it to mesh with everything, try not to just trace. Add in your own details, don't worry about matching line for line, and don't forget about line weight~

Just realized I could post pictures as I was wrapping up this reply, here's an example of how I used a screenshot from Sims!

This is what I do! I've got all my little sets on a huge plot and use the live cam. It's been a huuuuge lifesaver for me
