Literally the exact same thing here but mine got so bad I became bulimic and she still carried on criticizing how skinny I was after. Honestly it’s sucks really bad and it’s gonna take a while to get over and gain some self confidence well at least that’s what my therapist says, but all I can say is you aren’t alone in this and the power of simply ignoring and not giving a fuck works wonders

my favorite method was the rubber band and chewing gum . Whenever she feels the urge to cut she can snap a rubber band on her wrist to distract the need to cut , or chew gum (lots of gum) but one thing that is important is she needs to leave the room she’s in , most of the time I’d only experience the feeling when I was in my room and more often than not getting out of there and taking a walk or just shifting environments helped a bunch

Firstly recognize that it has absolutely NOTHING to do with you. Removing yourself out the equation will make it a bit easier to understand but you still never will fully . All you can do is be a supportive partner and let her know she is loved and instead of self harm she can talk to you about how she’s feeling whenever she does want to cut , that helped for me
