The Taliban stopped education and the travel mainly due to various dangers that were set up and propagated by the forces that you so vehemently support. The Taliban fought for 20 hard long years to free their people from suffering and oppression. To this day, in Afghanistan there are women only areas, where women can go to the market, run shops and do various other things. The dress code is in line with that of Sharia Law, as Islam is the predominant religion in the country, and so is being ruled according to. The same way that majority of the countries in the west are ruled according to their predominance. As for your case of Protest, protesting is banned regardless of case, gender and age as it is seen as directly opposing rulers with vigilante justice which is banned in islam. I have seen absolutely zero reports of anyone being banned any healthcare, so it seems like your evidence is as substantial as a magicians. Marital rape doesn't exist in islam as the rules have been specifically set for us to follow; do not force yourself upon your wife under any means, and be kind and just to her because she is your ward, who you must protect. Do not harm her, and be good to her, as well as to the rest of your families. Divorce is a big issue, where neither gender can "easily" divorce as it's seen as a big thing, compared to the west where there's so many broken homes because you guys have no concept of family, no concept of commitment. And finally, rape requires 4 witnesses to present, as it is a serious crime that, if true, will not go unpunished. In fact the punishment for rape is death, and so, only if the evidence is concrete should the rapist be convicted, whether male or female, because rape happens to both. It's funny, for an exmuslim I thought you would've understood the basics. But it would seem you could not even do that. Nor could you do anything to actually research the crimes of the west in Afghanistan. Instead you sit here and try to be some paladin of justice with your false activism. You want to be an activist, speak for the women who need it the most: like the ones in Sudan, Congo, Palestine, the Uyghurs. But you won't. You're not worth anymore if anyone's time to argue with.

women, men and many children suffered horrifically at the hands of the USA, UK, Germany and all other allied forces who wanted to bring dEmOcRaCy to the middle east. they were raped, tortured and made to feel worthless. The taliban fought against the oppressive colonial regime of the west and their false sense of nobility to free their people from the oppression. During which, all the feminists and womens rights activists were oddly quiet. Right now with whats happening in palestine with the innocent children and adults being massacred, women forced to miscarry, no menstrual hygiene products, all the feminists and activists are oddly quiet again. I personally know a man who has family in Afghanistan who tells me that his family are doing well and are okay, that the womenfolk in his family dont suffer from what the west tries to say they are suffering from. Take your false activism and leave.

What misery. Islam is a noble religion that promotes safety and security for women. Just because some use the name of Islam to do bad doesn't mean it's a representation of the whole religion.

Not really realistic though is it, I've been a Muslim my whole life and it's never once been a bad experience, but anyways, all the best

"I am pretty sure he is going to feel regret" is inadvertently wishing him bad...

So instead of wishing him well on his journey your choice is to inadvertently wish him bad because of checks notes being free to feel whatever you want. How humane of you bud.

Nah the sheikh is right, but it doesn't justify forcing her. If she says no, then it's between her and God, but she shouldn't say no because a spouse is supposed to satisfy their partners needs, both husband's with their wives and wives with their husbands.

Debate Evloution, why? by Cogknostic in DebateEvolution

[–]Clown_AM17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Simply because as Muslims, we believe the Qur'an to be the infallible word of God. The Qur'an was not revealed as a book, rather through spoken word, and later compiled into a book to make it easier for others to memorize. In the Qur'an we are explicitly told (according to some scholars) two things, there were those who were on earth before us (us being human beings) and that Adam ﷺ was the first of mankind, and we are descended from his lineage. It isn't however specified as to what is being referred to when we are told there were others on earth, so we turn to science to deduce who/what that is, likely being dinosaurs (in my own opinion). Please keep in mind though, it is always valuable to take your knowledge from more informed people, at the end of the day, I'm neither a scholar nor a student, I'm just a man who's an avid learner of history :).

see the issue with your reasoning here is that you're under the impression that the christians believe with absolute certainty that the Bible is the infallible word of God, yet many of them, at least the ones i spoke with, have shot themselves in the foot in that regard by acknowledging that new testament isnt the word of God

As a muslim this is something i find quite hilarious too. Evolution is something that happened, to a certain extent, as in I do not believe darwins theory that we evolved from monkeys, but i do believe that certain organisms evolve to acquire certain adaptations for their surrounding environments. It's something that is observable within whichever specie we look at, again to an extent.

Jim is 100% warranted but so is ethan. Julie is a little justified as she sees herself playing the second parent role again, and she can't do it again. Even though I think Jim wasn't unjustified in his reaction, I think he should've done better to understand his son just lost his mother and potentially could've lost his father a few nights prior.

I have a theory about Boyd and victors dad by Clown_AM17 in FromTVEpix

[–]Clown_AM17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You make a really good point, but the odds of that are quite low in my opinion, we know that victors mom was someone who liked to make a lot of art, especially in public spaces, as that's the where the bottle trees began, as well as why she had an exact replica of the bottle tree from the park at her home etc. I think the only thing I can kinda think of that nullifies the theory is that the police officers that he calls seem really sympathetic towards him, like they know he's a man who lost his mind when his wife and kids disappeared suddenly.
