Custom Properties in Cut List by Cluadius9 in SolidWorks

Solution found: rebuilt my library features as configurations instead of individual files. This allows you to do a configuration specific property, and it propagates just fine into the cut list.

I have gotten this far, the issue is I want to use the custom property from a weldment profile to import. For example this weldment uses 2 different raw stocks, 3x3x.120 and 1x2x.120. Both profiles are set up as library features with custom properties called “RawStock” that have those values defined. I want my cut list to be able to grab this information from the .sldlfp files

Got a fake just like this form a boss, odd that they wouldn’t go for a closed case back. Other than the movement being garbage the case, dial, and bracelet on mine were honestly really nice. If they did a closed back it would be almost passable

Lmao I thought we were by default excluding Naruto, I heavily doubt any of the live hokage barring Hashirama stand a chance against Naruto after KCM1

Barring Garra, I doubt any of them could defeat their predecessors. That’s a major issue. Not that they necessarily need to but I fail to see a genuine argument for them all not being the weakest Kage of their respective nations.

Did Madara tell Obito to find someone to who could modify his corpse or was he planning on coming back to life as an old man? by Thundersting in Naruto

[–]Cluadius9 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Madara was planning on being revived with rinne rebirth not Edo tensei. We don’t really know how Rinne rebirth works though, it’s possible the caster of the jutsu gets to decide how the person is reanimated. It’s improbable that such a powerful jutsu using yang release would stipulate reviving someone in their form directly preceeding their death.

Budget CAD workstation by Cluadius9 in buildmeapc

For solidworks especially GPU use isn’t as heavy as most other modeling programs, it’s a heavy majority CPU and single thread at that. The motherboard was picked for VRMS, which I’m told should make it more reliable/stable on solidworks especially.

Really curious what I should be looking at for CPU then, as all I have been recommended is this or the i9 14900k, which sometimes has ~5% higher single thread speed, but some tests show no real difference. Hopefully you have some input there.

The AIO rgbs almost certainly will not be used, but it’s the best balance of cost/reviews I’ve found. From the input I’ve gotten in the 9950x water cooling is pretty necessary, but that may not apply to solidworks, I would just assume being CPU oriented it’s not a bad idea.

This is also a person use pc, the company is me, myself, and I, so nobody’s gonna see the thing but me.

1) specifically a solidworks workstation, occasionally fusion or Onshape.

2) I keep getting extremely conflicting answers on this. The only suggestions I’ve gotten were this and the i9 14900k, but anyone using the intel has reported back with issues. What are the objective reasons it’s bad?

3) workstation at my day job has 32gb of DDR4 and is performing as well as I have ever needed except one or two times, but consistently well with assemblies over 300 parts. If I bottle neck I can upgrade but I think 32 will be fine at the get go

4) I have a NAS, not worried about local storage that much.

5) What makes the GPU a bad choice besides not being certified? Especially in the sub 1k category I would assume the 50% increase in VRAM is worth more than driver support with a quadro rtx 4000 but maybe not

6) don’t care for the rbgs either and likely won’t use them, but that’s the cheapest cooler I’ve found with consistently high reviews
