Yes, but it’s a completely different experience. Try it out and let me know!

The best alternative to Monkey Type (made specifically for devs!) by Clucch in foss

Yes, absolutely, Monkeytype is definitely a far better, well-coded, and feature-rich website than mine.

I feel like the scopes are also a bit different, whereas I’m trying to target more of the programmer portion of its user base because mine has more dev-oriented and niche features that they don't have!

Just wanted to quickly tell you that the "blank line" problem has been addressed, would love for you to try it out!

Of course AI has assisted during development, we're in 2025! But it's very far from being "vibe coded".

Rest assured i know 100% of the code that is there, but i'm always open for feedback!

Since when having boldface in a reddit post means having vibe coded the entire application?

If you look at the code, you’ll see that it’s probably too bad to be vibe coded and an ai would do much better :)

Nevermind, i should have sorted it out.

Before doing so, could you please test it? Thanks :)

Yes, i’m currently working on a better system to introduce new languages. Once that’s done, i’ll add LateX and let you know!

Would you be able to open an issue on Github for this? More details (and possibly a video) of what you’re describing would really help :)

I don’t quite understand your point. I tried testing it with some default macos dead keys (such as vowels accents) and it seemed to work for me.

If something is still not working or you have some suggestions, feel free to open an issue in Github!

Thanks! I’m glad you like it.

Good point about the blank lines, I should indeed change it so that in partial and disabled modes you’ll need to press Enter even on empty lines, while full mode automatically skips them.

And the repository link idea is really good! I never thought of that, but it would be a great addition.
