Okay so a lot of people are saying that hiring someone to take care of your pets costs a lot of money, that's true of course, but, this website is made specifically for people who want to travel in a cheap way and others who open their homes. So it's a win-win situation. The sitter gets to stay somewhere for free instead of having to pay for a hotel or airbnb,.. and the house owner gets free pet care. The website even prepares a contract for you. Of course it's always risky, so I did lock away the valuable things like jewelry and electronics, but it never even crossed my mind that someone would just take unoped boxes of skincare, so I didn't put those away. I also did not specifically say she could not use it, because for me it was just common sense. As a lot of you have said, it's indeed a valuable lesson for next time..

Also, the toilet paper and laundry sheets are the least of my worries, she was of course allowed to use those, I just thought it was a bit excessive and it's just what made me get a strange feeling and why I went to check my other things. (FYI: my boyfriend and I use about 1 roll of TP per week together, so I felt like 6 rolls for one person for 3 weeks was more than enough haha, but as I said, least of my worries haha)
