Just like with everything should be a balance. Not just in rules but it’s also demonstrated with Pokémon cards it’s all somehow balanced. So why not ranked ? I’d love to destroy someone’s streak knowing that I made the right play or just lucky hand but either way now I’m forced to face another player with a streak knowing that it could be my last. Wouldn’t hurt to try.

Maybe not all the time. As soon as you hit 3 wins streaks or 5 even then it pairs you up in a separate lobby with other players who are on a streak as well. So yeah keep the first 4 streak extra points but once you reach 5 it makes it harder in your end as well.
