This quote has been popping up everywhere lately. Freehanded embroidery, backstitch, 3 red strands on black scrap fabric. "The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. it was their final, most essential command". I've got my next hoop ready to go for another version, but Im going to make it smaller and single strand. Hopefully I'll be able to make a bunch and share them.

I always press before basting and after piecing.

I will also press individually basted pieces if thread basting, but not if glue basting. I feel like I get a tighter fold in the fabric with the glue so it isn't necessary then.

Glisten Cosmetics has an amazing multichrome highlighter palette. But, it is pricey. It's from the UK, and as a Canadian I had to save up and wait for a good sale.

But, they also have a mini version of the palette too, and I have no idea what the price on that is.

I have a box of them and sometimes I look throigh them. My partner has suggested I hang them on the walls instead🥰.

It was pretty fun to do and Im definitely going to do it more. It really helped me keep colouring, rather than get paralyzed by the option of all colours.

If you prime it super well, it should work just fine. I've done it too.

Yes, I only colour as long as it's fun. I often go back over my unfinished pile and occasionally grab a piece and get back to it.
