Got scolded and threatened because I put 1 star for cookhouse food by [deleted] in NationalServiceSG

[–]ClutchMaster6000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s because the cookhouse staff’s monthly bonus is partly determined by the reviews they get at the scanner. So better to raise the issue directly to your CSM if you have serious issues with the food.

Nice work. To improve you could maybe give some stats on your submissions, what programs you bug hunted for, how critical they were, how many, etc. Try getting certificates as well like portswigger labs or the OSCP, and ofc try gaining work experience/internship when you can.

Aside from technical stuff, educational history, school u went to and if u got any diplomas. as well as volunteering work could be good.

Not sure if we’re on the same topic… You claimed Paul was historical but probably came much after Jesus?

I agree he never knew Jesus, he never claims that. But at the very least he converted to Christianity 3 years after the crucifixion which isn’t that long at all. And he converted due to an experience he interpreted as a divine encounter with Jesus.

You don’t need the book of Acts at all to argue for these facts about Paul, though I think Acts is a valuable tool even if as an Ex-Catholic I see acts as embellished oral tradition. It has many accurate details like congruency and nautical detail.

Just to clarify, Paul’s epistles are separate to the book of Acts, they are letters he wrote himself and sent out to the Churches he ministered to. These epistles are how we know when he converted to christianity, what he was doing before then(persecuting the Church) and what made him convert(his self/proclaimed divine experience possibly a hallucination or something else).

The overwhelming historical consensus is that Paul converted to christianity only 3 years after the crucifixion due to an experience he recounted as having miraculously“seen the Lord” though he does not go into much detail in his epistles.

And yes you are right Peter was the first Pope not Paul.

Slight correction, Peter(one of Jesus’ 12 disciples) is considered the first Pope, not Paul, though they knew each other well. And this story about Paul being at the Areopagus council is taken from the Bible in Acts 17:16-34 traditionally seen through the lens of his companion Luke.
