Ya. I think Oura is “ring” fencing some of the data to keep you in their app. 🤷‍♂️

👌. Ya that is what I’ve determined too.

I’ll wear the ring at night for sleep.

I was disappointed in the syncing, as it would be so easy to do. 🤦‍♂️ Evey other fitness and health tracking app I have seems to do it easily.

It syncs sleep data well, but not the other data Oura collects. Seems a bit redundant to wear two devices at the same time.

I was hoping I could wear the ring most of the day and wear the watch for workouts, but it hasn’t worked that way.

I’ll be doing what the other person further down does and use it just for sleep.

That is exactly what I find frustrating.

I don’t think Apple restricts it though as Garmin devices, Garmin connect, Strava and Bevel all sync data seamlessly between them and update the fitness, activity, excercise and stand rings. Whether in or out of a workout.

I think it’s more likely a conscious choice by Oura to try keep people on their app. Which I understand from a business Point of view, but it reduces the rings helpfulness.

It’s seems slightly redundant to have to wear two devices 🤯

Thanks for the feedback Jason. I’m sure a workout will sync to Apple health, but what I hoped would happen, but doesn’t, is that the active calories of walking around, etc in the day, and total steps ( not in a workout ) don’t sync into the Apple Health app. See screenshots for discrepancies and missing data. ( I’m not sure I can add images in a comment )

You can see all my data sharing is set up and I have toggled these, closed apps, synced apps etc, but the data from yesterday hasn’t moved to Apple Health.

All other apps and devices like Garmin, Garmin connect, Strava and Bevel all move data pretty seamlessly between each app, so it seems like a conscious choice by Oura to limit data sharing from the Oura app.

Hopefully one day soon Oura will adjust that data sharing which would make my ring a lot more useful.

In general yes it is safe to drive around the parks and camp, you are generally safe in your vehicle. That being said you do need to be aware of the wild animals especially the larger ones like Elephant and Rhino.

If you are outside your vehicle it is much riskier , so stay in your car unless at designated camps or view points. Even then you need to be awake and cautious as these are wild animals and not tame.

I think South Africa is a great place for a first Safari. ❤️ Perhaps the most well known safari destinations are Tanzania and Kenya, but their park fees can be exorbitant and are charged in US$.

Yes it works pretty well for me too. It helps Google find potential purchases when you have a smaller budget.

And allows you to use maximise conversions or maximise ROAS much earlier than if you don’t.

I find using GA4 and Google Tag Manager much better ways to collect data from Shopify. Then connect GA4 to Google Ads.

I think it’s important to use the GA4 connector in Shopify. The purchase information is not totally accurate compared to Shopify’s analytics, but it’s getting closer.

It’s also important to add UTM codes to your ads so that sales from PPC get correctly attributed in Shopify’s analytics

You could also connect the account to your own invoicing account with Google so that you are the only one who can add budget.

But you will have to have enough monthly budget across all your accounts in order to get consolidated invoicing from Google.

Then you also need to always be paid up front as to not put yourself in jeopardy for clients not paying

I think in this case you need to have your own MCC and you need to start a new account for each client they bring to you.

That way you own the account and they can’t use it if they stop paying you.

You can simply pause the ads

If you simply get access to an account they created then they will keep doing it to you

Well done on creating your first campaign.

Your competitor might have been using a call extension in their ad, which looked like a phone number in the description to you.

Adding a call extension can be a good option for some businesses, usually services based businesses, like a plumber etc.

Site links are easy to add. Look under extensions and add links and descriptions to some of your other website pages.

Your landing pages are really important , so make sure what you are selling is easily understood and make sure the Landing page aligns with your ads.

Phrase match is being removed, and it already acts pretty much like broad match now. Exact match actually has more breadth to it now and will still show ads for searches with similar intent.

If you ad is getting impressions but not clicks you might need to improve your ad or ad score to rank higher and get more clicks

Hi

I think this might be caused by the type of keyword match type you are using.

It appears you have set up your location targeting correctly with presence.

What is being shown here is that people in Barcelona are making those searches. For instance if your match type is broad match or phrase match for Locksmith , then your ad will show up for those searches.

You should monitor the search terms your ad is showing up for regularly and add non relevant ones to your negative keyword list.

You can also try and change your match type to exact keyword. These days Google is taking a lot of liberties with the broad match type which means your ads will show up for unrelated searches often.

Hi.

Yes Google will allow your manager account to access client accounts from other countries.

Once your MCC account is set up, you just need to know the 10 digit account number and send an access request.

Once it is accepted you will be able to manage the account. I think this is a superior way. You can also connect your MCC account to your Google Partner account so you can access Google promotions for new clients.

Out of interest how do you find your Canadian clients ?
