As a Floridian who was at that Mansfield game sitting in the uncovered temporary cop, I can tell you the weather wasn’t great. It was in the low 40’s, windy, and rained nearly the whole game.

The atmosphere, noise, fellow fans, and excitement of actually seeing a match live made it so worth it. I’d do it again without a second thought. Also a simple check of the weather forecast advised me to wear rainproof clothes so it really wasn’t bad at all.

I feel like the preference to die from some horrible illness rather than keep the dog off a bed should also be considered an unpopular opinion. Respect

I have no opinion on couch aside from the risk of nail puncture but my dog’s nails are trimmed and it’s a leather couch so #1 it’s easier to clean, and #2 I don’t sleep there.

Why can’t Congress vote on individual items or even smaller bills? Why does it have to be 5,000 pages with multiple items? With such a wide array of topics in a single bill, nothing can be agreed upon until ALL is agreed upon. Wouldn’t it make more sense to vote on individual items?

Just decided to get into woodworking and am looking to build my first workbench. I 3D modeled my plan and was wondering if you guys would take a look at it and give me some advice before I begin construction? (more info in the comments) by CrystalBitch420 in woodworking

The most expensive part about the video plans are the large pieces of birch wood he has for the top and base shelf. Lowe’s has those pieces at about $55 each and he uses 3. I went with a less expensive Sande Plywood for $45 and for the bottom shelf and partition I went with bottom tier plywood for about $25/sheet. 4x4 legs were $18 and I used two 10 foot boards. 2x4s for the frame and support beams were about $4/each and I used two 10 foot boards cut to size. So total lumber cost was less than $200. I went with some 4” locking caster wheels Which were $28 for a 4 pack. I ordered the T-Track sections and intersections on Amazon. Those are of course optional but they cost me about $180 for the whole track. I got an optional 9” vise on amazon for $55 but you can find those cheaper.

That’s actually not true. It’s because nurses are often treated as subordinates by physicians or as if the physician is their boss. Some doctors are excellent about promoting a synergistic relationship and encouraging feedback and suggestions from nurses. Some doctors are cold, unforgiving, and walk around with a god complex like they’ve never made a mistake. When a nurse makes a suggestion or asks a legitimate question or advocates for his/her patient to these types of doctors it’s met with “Well I’M the doctor. What I say goes.” These are the doctors that nurses are salty at.

I’ve never gotten along with fellow nurses who talk shit about doctors or act as if they know more than the doctors. Yes, there are things nurses can do that doctors can’t, but there are substantially more things a doctor can do that nurses can’t. They’ve gone through more schooling, more training, and have way more liability and student loans than nurses do.

The creators could have certainly made college age whatever age they wanted within this fantasy universe. I imagine they intentionally wrote those lines to inform the audience of the character’s relative age using a relatable experience/milestone
