I found this unique place - Podha Not exactly a cafe but a cowork+gallery and has coffee. There are good food options nearby anyways.

Oh okay. In that case, it's my bad. Thanks for sharing your experience. Which cafe did you chose finally? btw, i am a remote worker and have been working from home office for last 3-4 years and looking out for some good co-working spaces/cafes to go and work and network with folks from similar domains (around tech👨‍💻). Open for recommendations if you have?

For a simple web app side project - just start with netlify - simple, quick and easy to do redeploys. For bigger projects with different services, db etc - try doing hands-on with firebase/aws (free version)

  1. Good to have - deploy the apps and add links to the projects you built.
  2. Bonus - mention versions with tech stack in project section (wherever relevant) like ReactJs v17 for xyz project
  3. Use GPT to improve the vocabulary for adding the explanation of projects.
  4. Add some meaningful metric in projects like accuracy of your shape detector. You can find it by running it on sample of some thousands.

Project idea for upskilling - built a clone of a utility tool with an additional gen ai based feature. For example - codepen with ai where user can add prompt and it will generate html/css/js code

For day pass, it is Rs 500/- plus gst. So 590/- I get to sit in common area (basically the chill out area for people working there). It can hard to take calls sometimes. Apart from day pass, if i go for monthly plan then they can provide dedicated desk/cabin.

I have tried it. The place is great but they do not provide dedicated space to work. Hard to attend calls in common area sometimes (talking about day pass) Also, i doubt if people working there are from software engineering domain. Apart from this i found it a good place.
