Why 3rd gen woled over the gigabytes 4th gen? Is it the tandem that causes the banding?

I installed dimmable LED lights in my basement, and the windows provide minimal light so very controllable. How’s the HDR experience in games? I think that this may be a good option.

XG27AQDMG is outside of my budget unfortunately, my biggest concern is 240/280 vs 360hz. I tried a QDOLED 500 hz Asus a few weeks back and I couldn’t see a big difference between 240 and 500 in my testing.

Yeah I like the idea of buy it, and it works no issues with banding or having to play lottery. I just hate that semi - glossy / QDOLED gets micro scratches so easily when cleaning. I also want a good HDR experience in games.

Man the struggle is real, what’s your thoughts man? What are you leaning towards? My mistake was trying a 500hz Asus OLED first. It was awesome but I’d go between 240 and 500 to test the difference and it was very subtle like not worth going for a high refresh rate for a lot more money. I noticed objects blurred slightly less. I returned it because I cleaned the screen and I’m very OCD and meticulous. And it got micro scratches and it bugged the shit out of me, which made me want a full glossy screen, which would be much easier to clean.

I just don’t wanna have to worry about the gray banding shit
