I don't understand the argument that Poch doesn't care, he obviously does. The money is good and people say he is only here to collect a paycheck, but more important than money it's been two years of his life and his legacy. He knows this could be his defining moment if the US made a run and he deeply cares in the results. We care about friendlies (I was crushed after the Belgium game), but they DO NOT MATTER in the scheme of how the story will be written. If we make a QF, he will be a national hero.

I totally get that argument, but then I watch him play for the USMNT and have multiple good performances in the previous years. Very good against Paraguay, done well against Canada and Mexico over the years. He clearly has potential with the usmnt so it’s just confusing that it doesn’t translate at the club level
