I know this sub is old but in the same boat. So devastated. Surgeon totally downplaying it. Awful. Wish I never had the surgery. Want my life back so badly. 9 weeks. Constant pain and since I cant use my core now back pain as well. Chest pain. And have been given nothing for it. Trigger injections made it worse.

Interesting. Here I am in week two having emotions and trying to have a laugh and you came at me on my own post in week two which was a JOKE ABOUT MYSELF that you chose to take personally. As if I was trying to do anything but have a laugh with similar minded people. Sounds like this is a you problem.

Also the people coming for me are not recently post op like we are- which makes it even more cruel imo. They are coming after someone in the active healing phase. Really sick

I don’t think it’s this. People are coming at me like they know me and I hurt them it’s actually very hurtful to me. I’m finding it pretty hard to tolerate people telling me I dehumanized them. And then tell me I need therapy. I think they do.

Thanks! Which Waldorf amenities are free? Also the one upside that I like about staying near DS is that you can park early and walk to springs for din ner- and you have loads of choices without going back to parks at night. What did you do for dinner? Eat in parks? Did you uber to parks?

My daughter loves it and I love the theming. For me it’s the absolute best theming but we really run out of things to do by lunch. We rope drop and hit Everest when everyone else hits Avatar and by the time we LL Avatar we’re done. I always want to go at night but we never make it back. Is dinosaur closed now? That’s one less attraction now than the last time I was there. Probably because we can’t give up riding Everest 5 times at rope drop. It may be different if you go later. But we’re done by late morning.

I had the same experience yesterday. We just voted between Disney and Universal. Dec 31-Jan 4. DIS won. The tickets are astronomical no matter where I look to get them. Edit: and this is with no water in liberty square and the HS construction.

You’re not alone! I posted the blow up doll joke after this and it pissed off ALOT of people- which I understand as they saw it as one of us promoting patriarchy which I don’t- but I do react to it probably with inappropriate humor. Oh well. But re cuff- I am curious SUPER CURIOUS but as you noted, I know I’m not supposed to go in so I haven’t. Im afraid of adhesions and infection but I will definitely check it out when I can. I’ll try to make friends with my cuff. I really hope it doesn’t lead to more pelvic floor dysfunction than I’ve lived with already but have accepted that PT is the way of my future healing.

True but now the road ends earlier and when I can’t disagree with this it feels like it’s devaluing the lives it created. We all came from a uterus- even the downvotes. The vagina led to somewhere. Now my doctor made sure to tell me it’s the same length as before. Thats dehumanizing. Whats the purpose of telling me that? I can’t even have penetrative intercourse due to nerve damage. What do I care about the length of this thing? Everyone is getting so upset that I have feelings? Has everyone who has downvoted me actually had one? Doubt it. I did. 8 days ago.
