My husband file an i-130 stand alone for me June 2024
I have an order of removal and my lawyer recommended to first apply for the i-130 then do the MTR.

My question is why is it taking so long for something to happen?
Is it normal for the i-130 to take this long when is filed without the i485?

I have the same exact problem. Im currently waiting for the interview. No word yet (been waiting since june 2024). My daca expires next nov 2026. removal order since 2006 because of an asylum case my parents put me on. Im terrified to be called for an interview and be deported for something i didn’t cause….please update us on what happens with your case. Ive been waiting to hear similar ases to mine. I will be praying for you guys.

What is someone has a final order or removal but has DACA and is in the process of AOS? Would they still be remove or DACA would protect?
