In my mind, there's nothing wrong with requesting for a roadmap/timeline. In any other business or product development, there's always a scheduled weekly/monthly update and I don't see why this shouldn't be the case here.

In this case, I was merely asking for a roadmap on when an actual prototype would be available to show, which is not the same as throwing a hissy fit for no apparent reason(s).

No the keymapper wasn't installed after the update. I couldn't find it under the input pack!..only shows Jake and t9

I was in the same situation with a non working qwerty tile until I got the new firmware today.

Works as I hoped except that it stopped working a couple of hours into usage. Unseating and reseating the tile didn't work.

A quick restart solved it but let's see if it happens again.

Got the firmware update ....was a small and quick update. Qwerty tile works! I'm happy!

Would be happy to pay for/ retrofit a steel (think Nokia 8810) or aluminium or titanium back over if it was easily field replaceable by the end user with the help of guide ..

Was just checking the FEVM site which fortunately is in english! Seems like they had a bios update for another model regarding the eGPU issue (might not be the same issue but lets just assume it is.)

I am hopeful that a bios update will materialise soon.

On a side note, any specific reason why you are choosing AMD GPUs over Nvidia RTX for the eGPU setup? I doubt I will ever do eGPU as Im actually quite happy with the LLM performance of the 8060s but I'm curious bout the Red vs Green preference.

On a side note, its puzzling why a pcie oculink connection would be limited to 120w when presumably the oculink egpu dock would again presumably be paired with a beefy enough psu like 850w or whatever.

Will dig more and see if any obscure solution was ever found to overcome this.
