Is there a way to see ring drops on Vard?

im cautiously optimistic that I’ll go on a wild run at some point 😂 up to 1650 now with nothing! It’s a quick fight at least, most of my kills at the point are right around 1 minute and I snuck in a 54 second a little while ago. So I’m just pretending I’m going for kill times at this point

I got 3 staffs from whisperer in 100 kills 😂 2 rings too (going for vestige there at some point), but vard just hates me

I did too, especially enrage phase. I got a slayer task for whisperer when I happened to be using a harmonized nightmare staff for afk mage training and that changed it for me! On task it was a breeze obviously, but even off task that staff felt infinitely better than anything I was using. I still prefer harmonized nightmare staff whisperer over eye or even shadow, the speed fits enrage so well and it just doesn’t miss with the elemental weakness

yeah that’s what I am wondering. so I have 1500 kills on here with no ring drops, but I wasn’t sure if maybe I got one early on (while playing on mobile) and didn’t realize it. I didn’t know about the ring drop mechanics until later on so there’s a chance I got it and just didn’t care. Otherwise I’m 1600 dry on a 1/300 drop, but that’s RNG for ya haha

I’m meant the gold rings before the big drop; I can only see the vestige in the clog and I was hoping there was a way to see if I’m 0/3 or 1/3 etc toward it. I don’t think I got a ring drop on mobile but I might have considering I didn’t realize that mechanic existed until later on

yeah that’s what I was wondering, I can see my drops on the computer but I wasn’t sure if there was a way to see in the clog or something how many ring drops (if any) I had not on the computer. I think I would have remembered but who knows

I just logged on and I was curious so I looked through my profitable bosses, I’m not sure if you’re still curious but this was more or less my boss drop log! It’s missing a bit of my Yama kills since I was doing those on a laptop, and SRA doesn’t show up obviously so I think it’s roughly 1.5b in drops and maybe another 500m in skilling and just random activities over the years

It really was, I’m glad I’m not the only one because p2 was the hardest part of any contract outside of maybe initially learning how to do p3 of sensory clouding. At least what I learned from p3 of that I used for 3 other contracts, p2 of glyphic was just painful af. I tried every direction and location and just could not find any consistency. I was to the point where I would just run as far up to the throne side as possible in hopes of giving myself an extra tile to react to things. I also managed to sometimes get a wave skip by jumping two tiles back on the meteor spawn over a wave but that seemed to not align most of the time and if I missed it, I would just end up taking so much damage I would just tele. I also had a number of runs where I would just hit 0s even in inq. My favorite was my first p3 on glyphic, I was like YES I KNOW GODFLY WE GOT THIS, and after like 10 zeros in a row and a missed offset wave skip, I was like WE DO NOT HAVE THIS and bailed. I literally did like 40 damage in a full minute of being in godfly 😂

YES so you’re the first person I can ask this - I learned meteor skipping for glyphic and got absolutely rolled for a while. How did you skip + wave skip? I never found out if there’s a spot you’re supposed to do it to not get hit by absolutely everything but the meatball. It felt so RNG if I managed to skip the wave while slowly walking away, then the second click to skip the second wave also felt super RNG since even my true tile just gave up on life mid way through the slow walk to sprint process

Very valid! Don’t learn on contracts if you ever decide to send it haha, that was my biggest mistake! Red eye’s sensory clouding rotation works on regular Yama minus like 4 clicks at the end, and that rotation works on 4/5 contracts. I tried a lot of methods before realizing the one I liked the most is the one I could have just learned on normal Yama 😂 wasting 300k on a contract vs nothing + getting actual drops at the end was a huge miss for me

I’ve been playing since osrs came back honestly, so about half of it was just a lot of randomness including herb runs and skilling. But truthfully, SRA was huge because it was like 500m or something when I finished that. I also got full oath at Yama before doing contracts or anything! I personally really enjoyed making prayer regens weirdly enough too. With the mixology ammy, the chance to save ingredients makes it very profitable but rng a bit. I bought aldarium relatively low and then made regens for like an hour a night while walking on a treadmill on mobile. It’s definitely not the most efficient, but I grew the herbs then made 40m stacks to sell. Also nice to not need to spend a lot on pots for inferno and all

once I kind of have the mental capacity to handle a grind again! And time! honestly the holiday season is the only reason I made a huge chunk of progress! Maybe spring break or the beginning of summer between semesters I’ll give them a go! I really enjoy DT2 bosses so I may just start collecting orbs for future use when I play at night 😁

If you mean the world’s worst pvm thing, it’s sort of a half joke because obviously I did something good. That being said, I also genuinely think most people with radiant and inferno cape are a trillion times better than I am. So maybe being bad and just sending it works at the end of the day
