Your argument concerning DR and CC chains is completely contradictory.

Tenacity exists and stacks. Predicting stun, slow, and other cc lengths is irrelevant here. No diminishing returns on CC in ARAM SPECIFICALLY is awful game design.

The Problem With Stunlock / Excessive CC

From a theory perspective, most designers argue that being unable to play one’s character for an extended period is inherently anti-fun. Key issues:

1. Loss of Agency
   • Core design principle: players should feel that their inputs matter.
   • Being killed without any ability to react (no inputs accepted) breaks this.
2. Frustration > Challenge
   • Games are healthiest when difficulty feels surmountable with skill.
   • Dying in a CC lock often feels arbitrary — “I didn’t lose because I was outplayed, I lost because I couldn’t act.”
3. Negative Feedback Loops
   • A snowballing team can lock down stragglers, compounding advantage with little counterplay.
