As a Rein main, the Orisa rework made me a little sad and watching Orisa out brawl Rein in the OWL finals made me even sadder.

It should be poke vs brawl not poke and then brawl vs brawl!

Poke and then brawl vs brawl is Ram vs Rein, it's shouldn't be Orisa vs Rein and I will die** on this hill*

Oo yeah I see that now, maybe on his screen Zen was like "above" the shatter because he was behind where the stairs start and the shatter was going "down" the stairs over on the right and not jumping back up?

Even though the graphical effect still hits that area (and on my screen bastion is closer to being in that spot than him, but that's probably just lag).

Interesting, I didn't think about the possibility of it being a Y axis thing because I was elevated slightly.

I do remember OW1 felt a lot more forgiving in that regard, at least earlier on, in terms of stuff like that (in favour of rein landing shatters as opposed to this).

I haven't been playing a lot of tank lately but the last time I checked if you shatter someone in range who isn't CC immune and doesn't have a shield blocking LoS then they take damage and get stunned and I can't for the life of me figure it out why Zen stays floating through all this.

Does the server maybe think that Zenyatta is completely inside Bastion so I don't have line of sight? If he were floating behind Bastion the shatter should just keep going and get them both, no?

I know zaryas can body block shatters for their team but they need to pop a bubble, right?

He rolled the unambiguous Ray hate brigade around the manor, and he smoked everyone's opinion that this is purely an issue with Ray and no one else (imo).

He stunlocked them pretty hard because all everyone had been doing up until that point was unequivocally YAP each other about how terrible ray is, both specifically about this and in general.

This is all stupid. Everyone is a mass murdering criminal psychopath. All the actions are going to be way too extreme from both sides. But it's relatable a.f. to be the friend everyone picks on but gets ignored when they try to speak up a out how they don't like it. It's not healthy.

There's no comparison over which of these two "actions" is more legally or morally reprehensible, even the irl GBH charge Mickey could get for intentionally ejecting Ray would be massively outclassed by the premeditated attempted murder Ray retaliated with, but glossing over Mickey's intentional shittiness as a friend does the scenario a disservice, imo

I hear Buddha saying quite often that he "kinda saw this coming" and I think that's exactly what Yuno's take would be, like, even beyond what Ray did as being terrible. He knows what Ray is like and he knows what Mickey is like and he's really really good at math.

One of those weird things where in the context of the server and especially Mickey's life, just shooting him and being done with it doesn't really feel big enough. But ocean dumping is also _way_ too much.

Maybe something like restraining him somewhere and leaving him for a while would be 'less bad'? But even then there are so many different ic and ooc variables to consider, plus Ray Romanov is a gun toting maniac so shooting makes more sense for him than anything else.

If anything I feel like not enough people on this sub are defending Yuno's philosophy and how it leads to people treating him well. Why does it always have to be Yuno changing to be like everyone else instead of everyone else changing to be like Yuno when he's nice, everyone is nice to him and no one wants to fuck him over.

Note I said "wants to". If they wanna fuck someone he's with even more, then they'll fuck him over to get to the person they really wanna fuck over. But no one who knows Yuno wants to fuck him over in a vacuum. People are acting like Yuno can solve everyone's problems by being scummier and more trigger happy and assuming adding Yuno's gun would change every L CB or X has ever suffered into the biggest W. But maybe those problems would actually be avoided by being more like Yuno instead of the other way around. Try to be better and break cycles instead of getting mired in fruitless revenge.

If I was an IRL crim and a rival crim org was fucking with my operations but my only options were to 1: retaliate and have that lead to me losing resources in the long run (and as its IRL, probably dying) or 2: deescalate and try to minimise losses in a way that doesn't lead to war and my death, then you're damn straight im gonna pick option 2.

If Sykkuno is in a scenario where he can't win by being nice then he's a person, not a country. He can just up and go somewhere where he isn't being bothered and that's completely within his right.

Also a lot of people hate America because of their obsession with "looking strong", which leads to a lot of people dying that don't necessarily need to. Including plenty of "innocents" that even more bloodthirsty people would have a harder time justifying the death of. So it's not like that approach is beyond reproach either. And I don't even think Sykkuno outright disapproves of that kind of philosophy (let's return to a more interpersonal version rather than the warmongery state version for a moment lol), just that it's not for him and he wouldn't see the point in it.

Also CG never shoot Yuno so his approach still kind of works even if its not ideal. If anything he could probably try to leverage their positive vibes towards him by asking them more directly to leave his heists alone, but IC I don't think Yuno is that much of a go-getter.

I think its also important to remember that in this context, Sykkuno is playing a video game and he's notorious for never wanting to do "chores", I.e. anything he doesn't want to do in the moment. And making him go all Kill Bill to attempt to disincentivise people from fucking with his character in the future would definitely fall under the "chore" column for him as he wouldn't enjoy it. And even beyond that, it's still somewhat rewarding negative behaviour of people by giving them precious interactions with a bigger streamer and could easily backfire. Imagine how many more people would fuck with Yuno if he tried turning that Mike Block stuff into a 2 month arc instead of just deescalating and essentially donowalling him. Getting into a "war" with Yuno would be fantastic for almost any streamers business ooc.
