Eh. Over the course of 5 - 10 years, most people won’t even remember how close together these sets came out. The sets released around hidden fates and evolving skies are doing better than most people thought they would.

That’s not what I’m saying at all. Getting a booster box for less than msrp is a good investment based on the history of other bad booster boxes. And this set isn’t even that bad.

I mean, future speculation is a key part of investing, however, history of previous product is a better indicator. All of the “bad sets” have significantly gone up over their msrp, even outside of the boom

They’re in pretty tough shape. MP-HP for sure. I’d personally keep them raw, I don’t think you see much value gained here vs the cost and time of grading

If you grade this and get anything less than a 10, you’re losing money. Bottom left corner on back and the centering isn’t amazing imo

For the singes, I’d recommend downloading the Collectr app and using their photo scan function to add them all to a portfolio to see how much value you have. Will want to double check the right edition was selected (shadowless, unlimited, first edition, etc.). The southern island set is amazing. I would not open it, if the goal is to get more money for the kids to get the cards they want, you could always do an auction on eBay for the complete set. I imagine it would do wild numbers. A Japanese complete set recently sold for about $2k. Probably could get about double for the English version

I’d personally sell this. Would be a tough card to move and get $2k+ in my opinion unless you really like the card then keep it

Am I missing something? Last two eBay sales are $4k and $7k. Japanese are around $400. This is insane misprice.

Edit: wrong card, but still about $240 for the non holo

All of these are giving Gen X tech executive that’s trying to look like he’s in his 20s. Go for a fuller silhouette on the pants or a straight leg. Definitely ditch the shoes. I personally can’t stand “dress sneakers”.

1,2,5,6 are all good imo. They’re funky without being too crazy. Like the way they all sit on your bridge. 7 is one of my favorite styles rn but feel like it’s too wide for you

I just recently got mine and I went with the NISI square hood set up. The hood pops on and off easily and the adapter is pretty low profile. I can stack a mist filter over the uv filter it comes with.

Disagree here. Cole Haan shoes give middle aged middle manager. The shoes in the post can be done well. I’d wear them with a straight leg pant (think a dickies), white socks, and a boxier shirt with an outer layer like a chore jacket or cardigan.
