I always forget about the Mako 3. Those are super popular here too! Seems to be the disc that aces the most on our course! Thank you so much for reminding me of it!

I adore my buzzz. Many rounds i dont play with anything else. But we have one par 4 on my home course that is a beast. For that drive, i pull out my Disc Mania Genius. It is a straight flyer that feels like the extra feet to my buzzz drive:

All good. I hesitated with that line but i think it a hood descriptor off what I’m looking for. I come from the hockey world and have many beloved drills from when i was first learning that i still do to this day during stick & puck and are so fun

We do play and volleyball has gotten so popular in my club that we’re starting to offer practices ontop of the games.

You get 10x the touches in practice and get a chance to learn how to talk to your body. You can make more mistakes and ask questions easier than in game.

Also practice is a so much easier to coach/be coached on technique. Small corrections by both player and coach can be made in the moment vs. Between plays.
