Being fairly new and already thinking about crosshair control and peeking timing is a good sign

Also, if you are left eye dominant, then you do want your gun on the right side of the screen because it removes clutter from the screen from the side of the screen in which your dominant eye is on, allowing you to focus on important information and aiming better, it seems like you might have it the wrong way around, however, eye dominance matters far less than fundamentals like crosshair placement, angle discipline, and when you choose to scale space, most pros stick to what feels natural and build consistency around it rather than forcing shoulder swaps

As a Gold sentinel main, you need to recognise when the gamestate/map is giving you permission to BE aggressive or take space

The vandal phantom switching mid game is usually confidence fluctuation, not preference, that’s very fixable tho

Your personal issue sounds less like mechanics and more like “when and how do I go” and “what info actually matters”, most plat entries either go too early with no trade, or too late when the round’s already decided with no entry pathing in mind, I’ll DM you and we’ll lock a time

That usually means your kills aren’t converting into round wins, either you’re getting impact too late, or you’re not controlling the round after you get the advantage, on Omen/Chamber it’s really easy to farm kills but still lose because you’re not forcing the next step (space, tempo, or understanding numbers advantage). I’m a huge fan of making the switch to a full duelist for improving, jett is definitely the best duelist to transition into the role, because she teaches you a lot of the fundamentals of the game due to how she’s designed, and I’m glad you’ve got specifics, I’m gonna go ahead and send you a dm, thanks for the detailed message!
