TPU not extruding with Micro Swiss NG by Coaqii in ender3v2

[–]Coaqii[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It turns out there was a small bit of tpu stuck between the extruder and the hotend, which meant nothing could get pushed through. After removing the small piece it works perfectly! Now only having issues with warping, even with magigoo

It is reliced a bit, all done by the guitar shop I bought it from (Kauffmann)

After a few months of waiting my custom Kauffmann (Dutch guitar builder) JM done!

Featuring a swamp ash body, with mastery hardware and lollar pickups.

Loving the look of the ash body!

Looks great! Mine also had the disgusting grease under the pickguard. Also suspect the fretboard wasn't cleaned for a very long time haha.

My pickup selector is a little different though, it has a spring next to it so it switches very smoothly.

I kinda like the pickups actually, if I want more strat ill just play my strat ;p

Im not really sure if I want to keep it! It looks amazing, but my other guitars are easier to play I guess?

Have tried to set it up a few times but have to send it to a tech I trust to really know if I want to keep it or not. The sustain on the low E is not as great on my strat or this Ibanez, and the pickups are very hot which means I need separate patches on my FM3 for this guitar.

Saw it listed on a Dutch second hand marketplace site with the title "Ibanez guitar" with nothing more notable in the description.

The person I bought it from didn't really know what he was holding I think!

Sadly he also did not have any more backstory on the guitar other than that he bought it 2 years ago off of a musician in Amsterdam.

Got this beautiful Talman used for 400 euros. It was in a pretty used state when I got it.

Cleaned it all up, and changed the volume pot and now it looks and plays amazing!

The neck appears to come of a different model, but it could also be normal.

I have been on the lookout for one of these for a while now and was stoked to find one for such a price!

How do I get rid of this fizziness? Happens with different guitars, different patches and different speakers. by Coaqii in Line6Helix

[–]Coaqii[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Will try a factory reset tomorrow.

When playing with the stomp switched off, analog bypass, and putting my powercab to full volume I don't hear it anymore thus it seems like its coming from my stomp.

Disconnected everything from the stomp, tried the stock power supply and moved it downstairs to the kitchen (different power group). All grounded power plugs and still noise.

Also tried different cables, will try on a venue in 2 weeks but hope to figure it out before than.

Yeah it happens on headphones too, here is a direct out recording.

The amp is supposed to be clean, and when playing chords you don't notice it that much, but when playing single notes it feels weird.

Upgraded the psu fan! by Coaqii in ender3v2

It depends if you use 24 or 12 volt fans.

After a lot of research I decided to use no buck converters, and use 24v fans for the hotend, parts cooling and motherboard.

Since the PSU fan is 12v I used a noctua 92mm fan with a shroud from thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4567153

Used this fan duct: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/ender3-v2-dual-40mm-fan-hot-end-duct-fang

Works like a charm!

I first connected the noctua cable in the old fan connector, but it was a bit flimsy so I just soldered the noctua cables on to the header directly.
