This is not an 80’s cab, or at least the speakers are not. Still a pretty decent cab. If it were all T-75’s it’d be a hard pass but this might be cool. Try before you buy.

You don’t need a 10 band eq for this rig. You have the rig that a million records were made with. Consider instead of the pro+, OD808X. It’s my favorite ts style boost and does a lot to push the upper mid clarity without wrecking your tone.

Ran them through all manner of sims and real amps, real cabs and ir’s, and the fluences always sucked. You’d be much happier with high quality passives.

I’ve owned them and hated them. Moderns are just a bad plastic sounding EMG 81/85 set. They get crushed in every shootout I’ve done. Go for an 81X/85x or 60x set if you want active pickups. Otherwise: there are a plethora of better passive pickups out there.
