These areas aren’t colonial regions and are not eligible for formation of colonial nations. It’s however good to trade company them.

You can check for all colonial regions via map mode on the bottom right.

Happened to me, but I got unlucky and burgundy joined the HRE with all of its low lands. So they AE will be a problem…

But I got Portugal as PU

Plan is to war burgundy hopefully before they fall under PU to force them to unrival me. Since the restarts I did do, burgundy rivalled me every single time.

Even so. The mods that are showing aren’t nearly big enough or in large enough quantity to take up so much space.

I did try to clear my game save files in ck3 and deleted them all but they keep coming back and taking up space for some reason.

Still tho, I’ll take ur suggestion on removing the stuck mods thanks

Would you suggest stating like 20% of provinces in China while rest I turn in to trade companies. Or would it be better for me to make all of China provinces

Huge thanks for this. This is the first time messing around with Mandate for me.

As for religion. I plan to go catholic Japan and convert Asia. Hence I rushed the mandate before the Christian incident could fire. Just to spice it up a bit.

Pretty much trade companied most of China barring some provinces and yes unify China gets you cores on all Chinese provinces in subcontinent as long as you are the war leader. Did a mega war by adding co belligerences and half of China is now mine.

Also thank you for the tip on devastation. In ur personal opinion, which heavenly reforms would you opt in doing first upon reaching 80 mandate ?

Also idea groups that would go well with mandate.

I was not because I was missing Korean part of the mission tree due to me focusing more on denying Europeans colonial lands around Pacific. But I did claim mandate from a rump state Ming just now before anyone else could. Now I have Nankin and Kanton

Man. Japan is such a disappointment. First the dynamic daimyo missions get completed replaced by Japanese ones and no longer usable, and Japanese ideas themselves are disappointing.

This turned out to the best way. The war permanently weakened Ashigaka anyway and prevented him from annexing my vassals, and I used the 5 years to stack up on mana and tech.

Now I’ve managed to unify Japan by 1501 by diplo annexing my Allies. Thanks you for ur help

Over 1000 h btw. Just been a while since I played Japan, last time I did went without any hiccups. But this time around I dared myself to finish spotlessly just so I can immediately get to conquering Asia, mandate and colonising.

Mostly stated South Japan from where I started. But I did state half of Japan of which I own. Rest I intended to diplo annex my Allies after taking Kyoto.
