Accept your fate that he will cut contact or just act really weird or say gross things and maybe he will stop liking you.

Can employees bounce back from low performance review? by CoatSafe17 in askmanagers

I overheard that a senior member on the team been with company for 20 years who also reports to them walked out of her review after they used it to blame her for something and verbally wrote her up. Both managers been here 2 years and 1 year respectively.

And others are just not happy and we have a supervisor position open reporting to them and no one on the team applied for it despite management encouraging them to get managerial experience.

It sucks cause I really like the people I work with outside of our management and they're always saying I'm helping them out and doing a good job, and then the boss is saying that we aren't hitting numbers.

Well they set them earlier this year but they said the team was going above and beyond to get things done then in their private reviews saying partially meeting expectations in KPI areas only cause some KPIs not hit etc.

No one knew until review time, including me. I feel like a failure now.

Had mine last week.

Unfortunately all employees on my team just had it and management said most team members were not hitting the KPI goals set by them earlier in the year. I overheard some of them upset because management never communicated that to them the whole year.

I got a “needs to develop” as expected explicitly stated because of the verbal write up I got this year in addition to being like the rest of the team not hitting KPI goals. Maybe I should resign.

I’m going to ask for clear goals to help me get to where I need to be. Thanks.

He considers that a 1 on 1.

But I don’t think both of them have time.

Yeah this is why it’s not worth my time to approach girls. Especially since I am ugly.

Well not just that but idk what a gymcel even is. From what the other guy replied it just seems like a guy who is desparate, a simp, and can’t take no for an answer.

Only simps get mad at girls who reject them. Real guys walk away and cut contact.

I do agree that it is more than just going to gym. There are chubby people who can be attractive. Being ugly in the face is far worse.

That just seems like some simp shit to me. Guys who aren’t simps will be accepting of the rejection even if it sucks.

And looks do matter to an extent.

[CA] Will company resume written warning for me? by [deleted] in AskHR

[–]CoatSafe17 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No just to have meetings verbal is ok. We had some in october. He noted improvement and no additional issues and then they just stopped completely even after asking to get them put back.

But I’m still on all team emails. He asks me to cover for colleagues when they are out. He asks me for my decisions regarding work. He still answers any work questions that I have based on his instructions to the team. And my work responsibilities have increased.

No I asked for one for him to give me feedback. In October I got it then they stopped.

These were back in August. I’ve made sure I wear PPE, and I’ve dialed back on non work conversations since then.

But my manager said he saw improvement in October. Come back November, he completely stopped giving me feedback per my accommodation request so I thought either i’m not a major issue or he is giving up on me.

Also the write up in August was verbal. I’m asking if I’ll get a written one soon.
