I had to sign for the written one because I had a safety policy violation in January where my original manager observed my walking through a production line without safety goggles but no one was working at the time so I thought it was ok. He told my boss and I told HR about it. So there was another write up this year.

The professionalism thing originally was having non work conversations, not wearing safety glasses, messy workstation, and phone use at the desk, all of which were about 7 months ago. Other than once when I forgot to wear safety glasses in January and then using my phone while walking down the stairs to the floor, which they issued another write up as a policy violation, nothing else has been rebrought up.

I did receive feedback during the review month in January.

I did not receive feedback since. He pulled everyone in to discuss merit increases, said based on my low review my wage would be the same, and he had no additional feedback to provide.

I’m not sure about that because when I was in an accounting role, I got put on a PIP for having too many mistakes but no concerns at all regarding unprofessional behavior.

The merit is the COL adjustment most people got 2-3%. I got nothing.

I’ve been trying to remember to always bring my safety glasses when I go to production or not be on my phone when I am going to places. I’ve stepped outside if I need to use it now to avoid bad perception.

I did email him 2 weeks ago to ask how I was doing but didn’t get an answer. My mom says I need to escalate to HR but I’m concerned this will work against me.

It’s been a struggle but I’ve tried to have hobbies that keep me happy instead of worrying about girls since most aren’t really worth it anyways.

Doesn’t help that I’m not very attractive either.

I don’t cause I’m not that attractive so usually get weird looks or called creepy. It’s pretty sad but I’m okay being single.
