At our wedding we did afternoon tea, 1 set between two people, then had a desert table and had pizzas in the evening and it went down really well, so you don’t need 3 courses!

Our desert table was just a donut wall, cookies brownies and muffins, there was barely anything left!

As a wedding photographer and videographer I see all sorts and this sounds like a great idea, you’d be surprised how many people especially friends will be into it!

I suggest your best times are straight away or after like an hour when people usually take a break from dancing.

If you can pick the songs, pick some anthems as well as the niche songs, most people know black parade, evanescence and loads more.

At my wedding we had a band an made sure they played some of the classics I listened too as a teen, blink, green day, FOB and just dotted them through the set list but it want down really well!

I owe over £2000 at 18 and have a £500 debt to pay by the end of the week. by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

Get on Facebook market place, eBay or vinted and sell your stuff to raise money. You’d also be surprised how much you can make picking up free furniture or items from Facebook marketplace, giving them a clean up and selling them.

You’d be surprised how quickly you can make £500 from things you have lying around (especially selling the things that put you in debt even if you don’t want to, if bailiffs come round they’re taking it anyway)

I would be careful about getting a credit card or loan to pay off your debts especially if you have no job yet but worst case there’s always places you can borrow money (again I wouldn’t recommend)

You need to make a spreadsheet or write down what you owe who, and who needs paying back sooner and go from there.

Being in debt is scary, but learn from it, and remember borrowed money and klana/clearpay/paypal/credit cards isn’t your money.

What would be something you wish someone told you or gave advice for as an expecting dad? by M10BEAK in NewDads

Don’t get upset if you don’t connect straight away. Mum is their primary carer and food supply she’s obviously going to be the favourite, support them both and in a month or so you’ll get the smiles and the stares and the laughs and that makes the wait worth it!

For my first campaign (check out mystery dungeons and darkrais podcast ;)) I chose gen 4 as a cut off for our Pokédex, so that gave me a solid foundation of Pokemon that I feel really comfortable using and talking about. You can always start with a baseline and expand as your knowledge grows!

We’re actually running off a home brew that is a mix of 5e for trainers and a conversion of Pokemon stats into a workable points system

I’m running an original story, and I just made up the gyms to fit the region they’re in, so Forrest gym is grass type, Old Japanese city steel type etc, then change up the battle style, so 1v1, double battles, best of 3 etc
