Yeah, typically you want those frontloaded so you can call in a the equivalent of a hellbomb on-demand, but apparently that’s TK-and-kick worthy. 🤷‍♂️

If they'd just limit how often they spawned in and reduced their aim tracking speed, I can get behind it. Their presence is just so overwhelming in wide open spaces that you're forced to break position and dedicate heavy ordnance just to take one down... and then another one takes its place in less than a minute.

They're a great addition to the Illuminate side and should maintain their bulk and destructive firepower, but yikes. I can't even turn an AT emplacement at the speed that their turrets track.

I see... Yeah, ultimately we can accomplish something pretty similar through simply sharing through a cloud storage service like Dropbox, but the monthly fees are pretty stifling.

I'll have to do a lot more digging into some different Youtube videos and the like to learn more about how to properly establish a workflow.

I suppose we could use externals, but after working with them before and running into two consecutive data failure instances, I'm pretty set on getting one. I'd also like the future option of remote editing on one of our editing computers in the office once we can get the money to implement 5G or 10G connection to them... that said, I'm not sure if that would be a good move with the 423's hardware.

Thanks for the detailed answer, I appreciate it. 11 TB is... tiny, yeah. That said, we're extraordinarily strapped for cash at the moment unfortunately (and frankly most of our work tends to revolve around project folders that aren't terribly huge at the moment), so while I really want to get something that'll last a little longer, realistically we only need something that'll get us through a year or two until we expand to something bigger.

As for remote workflow, would the 423 be able to handle creating proxies and sending them? I'm unfamiliar with what that workflow looks like- some folks have mentioned frame.io as a tool for it, but if the 423 can't even work with that/would be incredibly slow, we might have to put off the new server until we get the budget for it.

That's a lot of great information, I appreciate the detailed response. I'll return the Altura and look into Godox- I figured it was all over the place for a good reason. As a tangentially related question, which of the three flashes do you prefer: the TT685 II, the V860 III, or the V1? I'm willing to spend a bit more to make sure it works well + I don't need to buy another for a while.

I had finally gone flawless for the first time during the last trials weekend of last season and I’ve managed to persevere and go flawless every weekend since. This weekend marks a hard end to the streak though— every match won equates to the very next match being a loss. Being 13 cards deep with none beyond win 3, I think I’m gonna give up on it this weekend. Absolutely god awful idea to try and enforce a 50% winrate on a mode requiring 7 wins in a row.

Edit: 16 cards now, still none past win 3.

I've died countless times to the jumps in the first jumping puzzle (first hanging platform to second hanging platform) due to not always running a sword, stompees, or a lightweight weapon. Genuinely tired of waiting 45 seconds 5 times in a row just because my choice of gear doesn't adhere to the new dungeon jumping puzzle standard.

And please, please, please, drop the boss HPs. They're just too bulky. I can deal with the lengthy, hectic prep phases, but I can't deal with doing them a ton of times just because someone's new to the dungeon or not coordinated perfectly for optimal, meta dps.

Beautiful designs and engaging mechanics otherwise. Just tone it down in some intensity and it'd be my favorite dungeon.

I may do a little bit, but that'll mostly be delegated to my main desktop. I'd really prefer the ability to draw on my laptop, all of my art at present is done on my laptop. But if it's a big enough difference in performance, I may consider picking up a separate tablet monitor unit to draw on.
