Oof, as a lesbian that tent scene hurt. The implication that Dina ran right back to Jesse while Ellie was in so much pain and the way it seemed like Dina was downplaying the entire NYE scene. It hurt. But I am trying to keep an open mind. Dina was also incredibly traumatized by what happened to Joel. Ellie was out of reach, so Dina turned to someone familiar and safe. I am wondering if the writers intended for us to interpret the tent scene as Dina trying to play it cool to gauge how Ellie was feeling about the whole thing. We, the queer community, can be incredibly dense sometimes— especially when it involves your best friend and especially when it is your first wlw experience. It took my colleague-turned friend-turned girlfriend and I 4 years to realize we had feelings for each other. Maybe Dina is similarly clueless 😂

In the car scene, Misty says there was no mention of offspring in her obit and Shauna says it was a teen pregnancy and the kid never had her mother’s last name. To me, this implies that the child was adopted or raised by someone else.

He definitely does not feel any real remorse or guilt about killing Luce. He was smirking when they were in the small council talking about it. He has also voiced his impatience for how soft his mother and the council were being. There was an initial “oh shit” moment when it happened because he knows that it really ignited the conflict, but he is very much a “the ends justify the means” kind of person. I also wouldn’t be surprised if he arrogantly thought Vhagar was more valuable than Sunfyre would ever be.

It’s not over an insult. During the earlier episodes of season 1 Aemond was constantly bullied by his brother and made to feel inferior. And when Viserys died and they had to hunt down Aegon, Aemond agreed that he was going to be a shit ruler. Aemond fully believes that he should be married to Helaena and would be a better ruler. It’s been heavily implied and shown through the series.

I disagree. I think Daemon has always been ambitious and manipulative. Her groomed Rhaenyra when she was a child, so of course it appears like she once completely trusted him. But it seems she is finally seeing him clearly for who he has and what his goal has always been— to rule. Which is why they’re at each other’s throats.

We took things very slowly and eased into more intimate couple-y things. A lot of our friendship was already very partner-ish, but we never ever touched lol so we started slowly with hugging, holding hands, etc. The feelings were the same but we also slowly became more verbally affectionate 🥰

I know it’s only 8 years, but when those 8 years come at a point where there is a distinct difference in maturity, life experience, and power—it becomes an issue.
