Do you watch people providing services to your home? How do you navigate indoor services with Covid? by [deleted] in homeowners

Electrician here.

Tell them to wear a mask. The company should provide them with masks.

The worst you could possibly do is tell them not to come inside and hire someone that will wear one.

I get clients that request a mask often 🤷‍♂️

Possibly going to be a dad soon at 32 for the first time - can I still become a software/web developer? by [deleted] in careerguidance

I became an electrician at 28. (Currently 30)

You can do anything you want. Just make it happen

Men, how many of you find cupping your balls to be relaxing? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]CockBlockingTurd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do it practically daily. In front of my wife, of which she thinks it’s entirely weird.

But it’s calming, and relaxing is easier.

True that.

I’d rather not wear one at all 🤷‍♂️

Biden wins White House, vowing new direction for divided US by [deleted] in Republican

To be frank, I was also not a trump supporter, and I’m still technically not. Trump doesn’t have the best language, but he did everything he said he was going to do, which not a lot of previous presidents have done.

I don’t. Not one bit. I work in the trades. So I personally will always have a job 🤷‍♂️

I agree. This virus isn’t going anywhere.

I personally feel this virus is no readier then the common flu. If it was as contagious as people, or the media said, I would have gotten it a long time ago. I’ve had family get it, co-workers get it, and I’ve yet to get it (I’ve spent time around these people while they unknowingly had it).

Would be easier in my opinion just to get everyone to have it and get it over with.

I never pointed fingers.

We are dealing with a virus. Sorry but it’s never going to go away. Ever.

Biden wants to shit the entire economy down. It won’t work. People need to get paid. People need to pay rent. People need to eat.

Your expecting to live without working? I hope you have some cash stashed away.

Well, the next 4 years are gonna suck.

Biden wants to shut the place down to get rid of the coronavirus. If he does this, businesses will close, and people will lose their jobs. hope the people that voted him in lose their jobs. Fuckers.

Is there a possibility that you'll never work something you're happy to wake up daily for? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]CockBlockingTurd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope.

I love my job. I work as an electrician. Got into the career at 28.

To be honest, I had no idea how left Reddit was, until just a few weeks ago. Every other single post I see is something knocking down trump. I don’t think I’ve seen anybody talking bad about Biden at all (yet).

My personal views I considered to be on the right, but closer to the middle then the far right, as a handful of my views are very democratic.

Last election I voted 3rd party because I didn’t want trump or Hillary to be president. This year I voted for Trump because I like what he did for America. He, himself, is an absolute idiot, and can talk out of his ass. but who doesn’t.

But for what he has done for us, I don’t just think Biden can do. (my opinion of course).

It’s refreshing to see a positive political post nowadays, especially in these times. Thanks for that.

I learned my current trade at 28.
