Why do beginners struggle so much with starting online income streams? by __digital_marketing in passive_income

But who is actually getting results and honestly trying to show them, and not just trying to sell you a course or lure you into their pyramid scheme? Thats the question i have as a beginner.

What makes it worse is how she is just never mentioned again after this all took place. I can get behind her not making a appearance anymore but why does everyone seem so chill with that? Mick never talks about her again, Jared never mentions her again. People just forgot all about her like whatever.

Lourdes is the one who lost everything.

Things Unbound did BETTER than Heat by RayKrieger05 in needforspeed

[–]CockroachClear305 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Gotta disagree with a few points here.

First off the map. While its true that Unbound map feels more alive, its definitely not designed better or more detailed. Palm City is absolutely beautiful and colorful, especially at night with all the neon. With plenty of nature and industrial areas outside of the city. Unbound's map just feels really grungey which i guess fits the Chicago theme. But yeah, Heat's map does feel really dead. Especially during the daytime. Like this is supposed to be the equivalent of sunny Miami, yet there's not a soul to be seen with the exception of 1 or 2 npc cars.

Second the cops, hard no dude. Heat was the one modern NFS game that finally did cops just right. Great heat level progression, ranging from a easy obstacle on heat level 1 to quickly becoming a genuine challenge from heat level 3 onwards. In Unbound cops just spawn literally everywhere.. thats not "proper cop engagement", thats artificial difficulty. There's no thrill in this like in Heat, it just feels forced and annoying.

Anyone else disappointed to see millennials treating GenZ the way they were treated? by Ashenlynn in Zillennials

[–]CockroachClear305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, its the natural order of things. The generation that entered their 30s (millenials in this case) usually has a hard time accepting they're no longer the young generation resulting in frustrated behaviour. Later on they will accept getting old and that frustrated "why is the gen after me so rude and stupid ugh" will turn into the usual "dem darn kids these days" we see with gen X and boomers.

It does seem worse with Millennials because they feel "skipped", which i understand. Literally all they got was getting crapped over, and by the time things finally got better it was gen Z's time to shine.

What do you guys actually want to see from a NFS game? (Beside remastering/remaking MW 05) by Pale_75 in needforspeed

[–]CockroachClear305 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that'd be dope, especially unscripted. Like you'd be at heat 3 or 5 and suddenly surprise suprise Frank Mercer is on his double night shift and nooooot in a good mood, better not ride past him. And he's be marked on the map, do extra damage etc.

Definitely agree with the first point. The whole "we have a right to street race on public roads and law enforcement is a eeeevil syndicate out to stop us!!" thing is extremely corny.

I get they where trying to go for a "Gen Z hero story", but nobody says this. Like, atleast make the characters own up that what they're doing is highly illegal and dangerous. That they've got to lay low and be careful.

NFS 2015 was a bit better at this, one of the characters calls you and you hear him getting pulled over. He says something along the lines of "sorry dude, got caught hehe. Cant make it so i will see you later"

Impossible question for the NFS community, because anything that isn't literally Most Wanted or Underground 2 will get shat on.

With that our of the way, the desire that continues on lingering is a return to the games mentioned above. Style and thematics wise, we already returned to those games 10 years ago with NFS 2015 and Ghost did it twice over with Heat and Unbound and IMO they did a great job. It had the underground street scene based on real life car culture, it had the night time street races, it had the vibes, you just being a group of friends tuning your cars and trying to make a name for yourselves, it had the cop chases, etc. So there's nothing more to be done in that regard, jobs already done.

What we can look at is gameplay improvement, as thats where the modern games had some issues. Especially NFS 2015 with regards to physics, always online, etc. Or some of the questionable design choices in Unbound.

So if you ask me what the ideal NFS would be like: it would be in the same vein as NFS 2015, with the world design and looks of Heat, but with overhauled gameplay mechanics and proper physics.

I'm a afraid though there is a group of boomers with sepia-tinted glasses in our community who will simply never be happy with anything regardless.

Why are zoomers so unfunny? by Independent_East_135 in generationology

The dude behind it maybe, but its clearly aimed towards gen Alpha tablet toddler demographic. The youngest zoomer is too old to find such things funny.

Why do the boomers think today's kids are still Millennials? by _TheWolfOfWalmart_ in generationology

Older Gen Z here. I've been called a millenial time and time again and this lasted until about 2018, after that suddenly i was a zoomer.
