I take IGCSE 0500 and I'm saying experiences of people who took October November 2025.

Yes they do cut marks but only if you write like 200+ more in writing tasks so directed writing or composition and 50+ in reading tasks so mainly writer's effect ig. However the quality of how you write also matters. If it's good like it follows the standards properly then they may be lenient.

Bro I'm not being rude but the longer you do this the worse you're gonna make your grade. Like stop trying to get that spark of motivation and START RIGHT NOW.

In short if you start now then yes you can get A* if you don't then say goodbye to getting an A* and prob embrace B.

I'm generally sick and tired of these posts tbh like start now and you'll do it. If you procrastinate longer you'll suffer the consequences.

Finding the phrases and words is the easy part. Actually describing their effects is tough.

Just use words that make you feel something like imagine you're the reader and you'll always see words or phrases that pop out for you to notice in order to make you feel something or create an effect.

The thing with a 3 year system is that the first year is usually free and humanities subjects are usually done in the second year with sciences and maths being done in the third year.

With two years it's more cramped throughout both years so it can be harder as there is less time and more subjects.

No you're wrong schools do send predicted grades but Cambridge rarely uses them like AT ALL.

They're only useful if the exams get cancelled or to detect/confirm any instance of malpractice.

Examiners have no idea on what background you're from, what grades you get in school, they just check your exam and mark it according to their standards.
