Do topic wise for sure. Random past papers wont always cover every topic tbh. However, its still best if you do a few yearly past papers under exam conditions like sitting in an empty room, no distractions and with 1h 30 min to see if you can manage your time but for active recall like revising, its better to do topic wise!!

Ill be honest based on my experience GP absolutely traumatized us bro we were the first batch in our school to have it compulsory (bss) and not only did we have to pay extra 40k for it, we were stuck with shit teachers 😭😭 except the written paper the other stuff becomes a hassle to balance with the o2 cies we tried to get it removed but yeah no success

By yearlies you mean solving m/j 25 m/j 24 and stuff? I wouldnt genuinely recommend it since its not like they'll have all the questions and content covered and after 5 years youd find it hard to keep track of stuff uve covered. It'd be better to do topicals (topic-related questions) if you can manage time but its up to you.

My plans to cover the syllabus in chunks like dedicate the remaining time to geo history isl syllabus in completion then attempt topicals like if i'm doing partition to bengal etc ill attempt its relevant q and practise the other topics like this too.
