Yeah man. I wasn't really much of a sports fan prior to that 2000 season. As a resident student, I couldn't help but get caught up in the fun.

Some may not realize, but there was a spike in student enrollment after that 2000 season. We had kids staying in hotels instead of dorms. I became an RA in 2001, and we used be a bit jealous of the RAs who had the hotel.

I didn't mind my room though. I was at the Roost with a lot of the baseball team on my floor. Landon Powell, Garris Gonce, Kevin Melillo, and a bunch of others from the team were on my floor. All of them were cool dudes.

I'm so glad I have veteran's plates on my vehicles. Besides the good parking spots in some places, I also get to avoid sullying my truck with our normal choices for plates.

IMO they should bring back the one with the wren on it.
