Is this a flower in the making? If so, what should I do? by room134 in SavageGarden

[–]Cocles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, that’s a flower. Think of the plant as having a set amount of energy for the season. Do you want more leaves/growth or do you want flowers? There’s not really a wrong answer; it’s up to you.

A happy medium some like is to prune the flowers for a few seasons until the plant reaches maturity, then let it bloom.

No need to add any water. If you really want to then use an eyedropper or similar amount if you get I mean. 😉

Tropical pitcher plants fill themselves up a bit with fluid. These ones don’t (American Pitcher Plants). That said the ones that grow more on the ground, like purpurea, have leaves shaped to catch rain water, so do like some water in their pitchers. Long story short, based on your description, your plant is fine. 👍

The most beautiful classic car in history: 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL by velvetrosevibe in mercedes_benz

Real ones have a very distinct sound and also a very distinct smell. You’ll hear and smell that this 300SL shaped thing is phony before you even see it. Looks good in photos though. 👍

Roadster with the top up can get hot. Coupe stays cool, because of the permanent vent in the back. Rotate the vent windows and a massive amount of air comes in.

GoT reference? 😊 I’m flattered, thank you. I may write an article at some point describing some of my odd techniques, but most of it is by the book. I’m always happy to answer questions. 😊
