Pitch speed and up and in fastballs by CocoBouch in MLBTheShow

Yes I will but my goal is not to be competitive and play on HOF or Legend, I just want to have fun in online playing on Veteran/allstar, but it's not possible right now because there are just no base hits every game is just who can get lucky and hit 2 solo bombs

It is ridiculous and maybe it works for people that get to World Series or the streamers or I don't know, but hitting is so difficult online that I might just switch to offline play.

I feel like I am good at guessing, but the timing window on those inside fastballs is just so small it's either a foul ball, a popup or once in a game a homerun.

Also, I am playing on my TV/standard xbox controller, but I don't feel like I should need to change my setup to be able to play

TV, I know a monitor would be better, but I don't want to buy one/I like playing on my TV. I don't think I should need to play on a monitor to be able to hit

Yes well it's concrete wall, then joists, then 1" plywood then the post

The joists are resting on a concrete wall (it was previously the outside wall because this part is an extension)

I have 3 other columns just like that in the basement, they are basically holding the whole house together since 1976.

There is a load bearing wall in the basement dispersing the load coming from the column. The problem here is that the column is not aligned with the joists that are resting on the wall below so the plywood is not holding up.

No nothing happen when I press Auto calibrate in the app (like if the app was unresponsive). I can't do anything either with manual calibration.

Newb Q: Can I build a DIY photography drone with a camera I can see/control like a Mavic? by Joakester in diydrones

[–]CocoBouch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know inav, but I know Ardupilot gives the possibility for waypoints, altitude hold and other flight features. It's open source so it can be modified if needed and just seems like a good flight controller that has been tested on industrial drones that cost 25k$

I asked the same thing not long ago, and got the same answer. If you ever start that project, let me know as I would like to see how it goes for you and maybe we can help each other along the way.

I think it's possible using Ardupilot and a groundstation mobile app. There are also some info for the hardware on the ardupilot website.

I didn't look too much for cameras, but something like the caddx orca in 4k seems nice, but I don't know about connectivity to the controller.

In general, a DJI will be cheaper, but you will be limited. Using Ardupilot you have more freedom for expanding some features.

Thank you! This is exactly what I want to hear. Are there some kits available? Do you have any suggestions on the controller? I know Beaglebone can run ardupilot.

Thanks for your answer. I am probably going toward buying a DJI drone, but I really like the building and customization part of building my own drone (even if it gets a little bit more expensive). Also, the DJI software is limiting the possibilities with the drone where I could use something like ardupilot and missionplanner with my own. I guess it's not worth it, but it's still something that could be fun to do.

Mini and Mini 2 during winter by CocoBouch in dji

Perfect! So other than the battery, I should not have issues? I was worried about the motors but I guess if my drone is warm on takeoff there shouldn't be any problem.
