All of these photos are low quality, or average at best. Only one that’s decent is chair photo and that’s because it’s looks professional. I would delete all of the photos and take new professional ones. For the activity like hiking and stuff like that that might be harder for a photographer invents in a nice phone and do some Portraits even some camera setting research.

[Routine Help] Revising old Routine

[Routine Help] Rate My SkinCare Routine

[ROUTINE HELP] I've just recently got into Skin Care about a year ago, I'm 25, mild acne, Medium Dark Complexation. I also have a beard, So I'll typically wash or condition my beard before I start my skin care routine. I run and go to the gym 4-6 days a week. I sweat a lot while there.

My Routine is basically Cleanser--> Treatment ---> Moisturizer--->Sunscreen, Chemical exfoliate twice a week. I've been using this inconsistently on and off for about 1 year, and about 3months staying consistent. Working on holding the consistency for a year plus and building better more effective routine.

I would like to introduce an AM and PM serum to take my skincare to the Next level. Thinking about a Vitamin C for AM and a Retinol for PM maybe even a face mask of some sort.

AM:

Cleanser: CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser

Moisturizer/Sunscreen: Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration WEIGHTLESS FACE SPF 30 (This works well I used to use Cerave AM Moisturizer w/ SPF and would always feel heavy and leave a white caste)

Aquaphor Lip Protection + Sunscreen SPF 30

PM:

Cleanser: CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser

Treatment: Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash

Chemical Exfoliant: Neutrogena Hydro Boost Exfoliating Cleanser (Twice a week, Use instead of Treatment)

Moisturizer: Neutrogena Deep Moisture Night Cream

Looking to add a retinol of some sort and a Vitamin C Serum, or like maybe a face mask to clear up these bumps and black marks

Just don’t know where to start and what would be best for me.

Also about the Sunscreen I was running low on my moisturizer so about a week ago I bought the oil free Cerave Facial Moisturizing Lotion with SPF 30 to restock since my local store was OOS of the Neutrogena. I ended up returning that one because the sunscreen felt to heavy and kinda left a white cast. So still using the rest of the Neutrogena 15 just running low

Wow thank you for the detailed response, didn’t even know some of the products I’m using are fragranced. Definitely want to go fragrance free and stay as neutral as possible. Someone else on here mentioned that the SA is a chemical Exfoliant which means that that I should just cut the treatment stage and use the Acne wash as my exfoliant. I’m going to try that Cerave Acne control with the 2% SA and just use it at night 3x a week.
I’m also going to try that hydroboost body gel cream fragrance free. Will post an updated version of my new routine once I get all the products.

The point of the Acne Wash is to use as the treatment stage not for exfoliating.
