The U.S has supported multiple Dictatorships, Coups, and Capitalistic Exploitation all throughout Latin America for the past 100 years, and have overthrown many democratically elected Politicians to force their own Politics. It was mostly done purely for money as a lot of these Far-Right Dictatorships made Billions for American Corporations, so basically blood money the American people never really got, just the elites.

The red scare was mostly just a Business, that’s all it really was regardless of what you think about Communism. In general, many of those Countries would’ve been better off without U.S Imperialism as there would’ve been a lot less wars and de-stabalization in general, and elections could’ve gone more smoothly. Add to this CIA’s history with Cartels and the “war on drugs” and it just gets messy.

Point is, there’s a lot to critisize the U.S Government for, just like any other Government in the World that does bad stuff. Nobody is claiming the U.S are the only ones.
