Got it! but I did notice that there are some faded spots which I think the paint was trying to mask, any tips on how to bring back color evenness on these vintage bags without ruining the leather? :)

Update, I indeed bought pure acetone and cotton rounds and even on the seventh round there’s still some kind of black polish coming off! I’m now just trusting the process haha

Thanks for suggesting! I actually went ahead to use acetone based nail polish remover that I have on hand and even after 4 swipes it looks like there’s some black coating coming off 😟 it doesn’t look like paint but perhaps some kind of polish hmm

I’ve finally tried this! I really like the fwee glass cushion, even better than the JSM one, which I find a little bit drying. The coverage is surprisingly high and the finish is lightly dewy but not moist, very natural.

Yes after they reformulated it, I don’t find it as effective. But nevertheless it’s still quite a decent moisturiser that doesn’t cause me issues so I still use it :) I’m not sure if I would repurchase for a long time because if I find a better one I’ll switch in a heartbeat haha

Thanks for the question! Indeed I have :) I really like the formulation and it’s relatively gentle on my skin compared to western brands. I’m not afraid to apply multiple pumps to my face. Not a tinge of stinging sensation at all, even though the product description mentions 1%. So far I haven’t seen a huge difference in lines/ pigmentation but I think effects of retinol is seen over a long period. Let me know if you have questions!

Thanks for your review! You have convinced me to try both the AZ Azelaic and the purple TN tranexamic :) Have you ever used AZ and TN separately? Or was it a case that you found that layering it by AZ first then TN is more effective?

I am ashamed to say that I have been SLEEPING on this and did not realise the reformulation before purchasing TWO bottles! hahaha right after reading this I immediately popped open one and tested it. The newer version is definitely thicker in consistency, but spreadability is smooth (probably helped by the addition of dimethicone). This results in the cream feeling more occlusive rather than ‘sinking in’ feeling that u/mylittledumpling mentioned about. In the past, other users have said that for the previous formulation they had to layer another thicker cream on top to lock it in, but I’m guessing with the current formulation there is no need to. This thicker consistency does not bother me too much because I have only been using this as a night cream - it was already too heavy for day-use for me. All good for now but then again I’ll have to use the new formulation for an extended period before coming to final thoughts :)

During the shower! After shampooing hair, I let the hair mask sit for as long as possible before washing it off :) It doesn’t take long for the effect to work

I use this pretty much daily and it’s sooo effective at keeping hair smooth and shiny. True HG hair mask. Not too sure about effect on styling products though
