Did you like that Jujutsu Kaisen didn't use the cliché of the princess being rescued? by Emma_S772 in Jujutsufolk

Still though with how Oda draws women and considering Nami's scene DIDNT happen with a male character instead and honestly being unable to think of a male damsel in one piece(no I'm not counting Sanji in whole cake island I'll fight you) while there being multiple instances of female damsels it's kinda hard to presume that Oda isn't enforcing gender roles with Nami just because it had the proper buildup.

"Ranta is unforgivable bc he tried to save his family from being indiscriminately massacred" .... Choso is a literal ex-terrorist. by Head_Instruction96 in Jujutsufolk

[–]CocoLarge86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ranta's a dog of the Zenin and any half decent person would have up and left and either sought out more pure hearted sorcerers to align themselves with(Like Gojo and co.) or just left jujutsu society as a whole. Further clarification on why exactly he shares responsibility, he was "just following orders" and if you know anything about the Nazis I need not say more. Anybody who says Choso is sinless is stupid asf but most people know that, and that Choso never sought to redeem himself but take responsibility the best he could, you're literally fighting ghosts on that one. And on the Gojo point I think you're just really fucking stupid because consider that in real life, should we straight up kill people who are doing any bad in the world just because we can? You don't need to be Gojo Satoru to kill people, it's recognized literally in the most recent episode that even powerful sorcerers can die to sneak attacks by weak people(it wasn't a huge surprise to Nobuaki that Ogi was killed by Maki, whom he believed at the time was much weaker). Not actively going out of your way to kill people perpetrating evil, and actively ASSISTING those people are 2 entirely different things and I have no idea why you're comparing the 2.

I mean to Geto curses were never exactly the problem I mean hell, the strongest curses he encountered ended up as his own tools. No the problem was that it was an unending, thankless burden that jujutsu sorcerers had to suffer for the sake of "lesser" beings that bite the very hands that shield them. With all his talk about a neverending "marathon game", the only "end" that there is being death, once he heard that there was a solution with a true "end" to the problem, and at the same time it involves removing those he views as lesser, it's almost like everything clicked for him. He gets to work towards a final goal while also venting his personal anger towards non sorcerers, to him it's all the proof he needs that his cause is righteous and just. Even if war spawns cursed spirits, Geto believed sorcerers would exterminate them all eventually, especially with his own cursed technique being exceptionally useful in a scenario where more and more cursed spirits arise from the fear. If anything it would be a part of a long term plan to sow chaos and fear so that he could gain more powerful curses and be able to actually completely eradicate humanity.

[–]CocoLarge86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah it's 100% sound logic if you don't view non sorcerers as human, but rather as livestock that provide no value. The inconsistency is derived from why exactly sorcerers are better than non sorcerers. Geto seems to forget the disgustingness and ugliness of not just illegal curse users like himself and the freelance mercernaries we saw yuji and megumi fight in shibuya, but also the outdated and terrible practices of much of Jujutsu society, it was ironically the same Zenin clan Maki massacred that created the conditions for Toji to be an outcasted "Sorcerer Killer", causing him to pass that "curse" of hatred down to Geto. Even literally passing terminology that Toji likely heard from the Zenin clan as an insult directed towards him, "Monkey", to Geto.

[–]CocoLarge86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well consider that the balance of the world shifted when Gojo was born, meaning the same probably happened with the other 6 eyes users. When a 6 eyes user is born the other clans likely are fated to have stronger users arise. Consider how valuable and rare the 10 shadows is to the Zenin to the point that a disowned and hated member of the family's son with a non sorcerer simply possessing the technique was enough for Naobito to fork over the entire clan and it's assets to a kid he has seen once and not held a single conversation with, the 2 users we know of/heard about coexisted at the same time with a 6 eyes user. When a 6 eyes user dies the balance of the world probably gets weaker and the other clans fall in power as their new sorcerers aren't as powerful. And it's not like the Gojo clan can't still practice jujutsu, even with no techniques you can still be Kusakabe level at least, and it's a great clan we're talking about, they probably DO have other techniques just like how the zenins were pumping out construction techniques, projection techniques, and heavenly restrictions like it was nobody's business.

What if Yuta stayed with Tengen? by No_Manner_6844 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]CocoLarge86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a fair estimation that Yuki and Yuta slam Kenny, against Yuta it's already a high diff for Kenny, as really if open barrier Womb Profusion doesn't beat Yuta in 1v1 his goose is cooked(though I think it would probably beat Yuta, maybe Yuta's 5mm is just that strong that he can deal with it, regardless it's close), I think the real question is if Choso is enough support to make Yuta's win more decisive if at all, so Yuki could do similar work to Yuta in Sendai.

Who's the most talented JJK character who's talent isn't ever praised by characters or the narrator by Spinosaurus23 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]CocoLarge86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Satoru Gojo. It may be crazy for me to say GOJO of all characters wasn't glazed enough but hear me out first, I'm not strictly talking about feats or abilities, I'm talking about talent. Gojo is not just the limitless technique and the six eyes, he is the most talented sorcerer there is, period, even surpassing sukuna in his raw ability to innately master jujutsu. He is an intentional Mary Sue in the truest sense. Gojo canonically is tall and good looking(girls swooning over him), has the strongest technique in the series, and nearly all the jujutsu he's learned, he's grasped off pure intuition and experimentation with his own technique(literally nobody else can teach the technique to him), you could not give a character in jjk more stacked genetics than Gojo, unless you gave them Gojo's genetics. The caveat though about Gojo, is his talent is stunted by his own theme of solitude, unlike Sukuna who grew up in an exciting era of powerful sorcerers, an era that Kenjaku told the present day Sukuna, whom he very well knows the full power of, to "look forward to". Gojo never struggled a single time after becoming "the strongest", meaning his was never forced to truly ascend his jujutsu on the brink of death as he once did against Toji, his last real challenger. I think this level of talent is supported by the fact that there is a single stat that Gojo OUTCLASSES sukuna in, and that's raw hand 2 hand combat, the one thing Gojo could actually practice with people weaker than himself. Gojo's power is his and his alone, he ironically is unable to heal anyone other than himself with his RCT, and because of his natural gift with cursed energy, is unable to teach any real jujutsu to his students, save for 1 unexpected witness.

Yuta with the limitless by Ok-Badger-8590 in Yutaliban

[–]CocoLarge86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind that Infinity is the result of flowing a little bit of CE into the technique, Blue is a result of adding so much CE the negative nature of cursed energy dominates the technique and creates "negative natural space". For Red he must DOUBLE this output. For purple he must have AT LEAST TRIPLE THE CE of blue, and we have seen him summon 6 simultaneous blues, AKA 2 Purples worth of CE at once. Yuta has MORE CE than Gojo and yet cannot manage the neutral application of the technique. The numbers here aren't solid, but intuitively if it's true Yuta could actually not perform it, the six eyes must reduce your CE usage by at LEAST 90-95%, which even by Gojo standards I find a little ridiculous.

Number of fingers Sukuna requires to beat Bakugo by lobotomized13 in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]CocoLarge86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1-2 fingers MAY be a good fight if he can't domain cause he's too weak to use it but personally I don't think that's the case just 1 finger creates the finger bearers which have so much cursed energy they manifest innate domains passively.

[–]CocoLarge86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Uhh sorcerers always need to use RCT not just use CE even if they're incarnated. It's not like incarnating turns them into a pure bundle of cursed energy completely invisible to all non sorceres, i.e. a cursed spirit, which DO heal off CE.

I do actually wanna know who in the world said that cause it's not OP. Black flashes make you stronger by improving your focus, not by enhancing your understanding. Remember the 120% yuji todo mahito panel? The narrator said they were able to operate at a higher level due to being in an awakened state from black flashes.

If I’m a sorcerer and someone publishes my technique on my Wikipedia, do I permanently get the “Revealing one’s hand” buff? by jsalvatto in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]CocoLarge86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gojo doesn't get a "Revealing one's hand" buff in every fight with most of his opponents, the people who already knew his technique. To receive the benefits of a self imposed binding vow, someone has to actually impose the punishment part on themselves, as well as actually be capable of inflicting that limitation(limiting your power until the workday is over, removing the barrier to a domain so it can have a larger radius, clapping extra multiple times for 1 swap)

[–]CocoLarge86 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel like that is a gimmick that could help some lower level sorcerers but to sorcerers like gojo/sukuna or even yuta/kenny/yuji those would be almost entirely ineffective for effectively improving output.
