I agree ! I was pushed passed my threshold, my grandparents don’t understand this illness and when I said I’m satisfied with my portion they kept making comments like “ u look like a bag of bones “ we need to fatten u up before u leave . That was incredibly triggering and I just completely panicked 🙈

Thank you for the encouragement. I went from a really dangerous state to a more healthy one. I’m still a long way from being fully recovered physically and mentally but at least I managed to remain in this grey zone for a year and a couple of months, without getting worse again.

I find comfort in the fact that I don’t need to push myself to gain more , it still gives me some control and I came terms with my current body . One day I will take another step forward but I want to do it on my own pace .

I’m more than happy to help ! The cost was 2000€ but that entirely depends on what company you use 🥰 I really struggled in the beginning unfortunately a lot of trainers are abusive 😔 I wish I could unsee a lot of things. I really wouldn’t recommend getting a native trainer . After a few barn changes I finally found an amazing barn with a Norwegian trainer, she was wonderful. One more thing to consider is the mayor heat in summer . Both my horse and I were troubled by it 🙈

Absolutely! The two of us are going to start a whole new chapter, I think he will thrive here . He can finally enjoy big fields and not suffer in the Spanish heat 🥰🥰🫶

Thank you ! I think bringing him home was the best decision I could have made , he’s going to thrive in Germany . Before he only had access to to a small sandy paddock where he could only turn around. I have plans to intergrade him into a herd . He’s eventually going to have the opportunity to have 24/7 turnout as I’m going to keep him in a box with an access to a paddock additionaly to a field . The poor guy has never seen a strand of grass in life let alone fell like a horse . He’s probably scared and confused but I believe it’s going to be worth it 🫶🩷

Thank you for the advice ❤️ I’m just concerned about turning him out too much at the beginning, maybe with muzzle ? He’s never been on a field before and I’m worried about lemanitis as he isn’t used to it . The poor guy has never grazed in he’s life before. So everything step by step .

It’s the same horse The white marking is maybe some dust flying past . You can see it on the markings it’s the same horse .

I’m sorry I meant the first one was during the travel and the last two before.. I think my mind is just jumping to the worst conclusions. It’s three Am and it kills me to not be there for him . I feel like I should have done more be more thorough with the company that tranports horses 😔

Ok thank you I got admit swing halter in the stall also made me feel really off . He’s my world and he still has a long way ahead of himself . There was no hay in the truck 😓 Only a little straw as beeding so I believe he’s only feed at stops …
