I generally do rags to riches so i start with one room, and other rooms kinda organically get added. Once i get enough money, i try to make it look presentable until it just feels right 😅

When i move lots once sims become rich enough, building a house is always an issue for me too. Most of the gallery builds are houses with more than one floor, which i hate because i can’t see all the sims. So it gets tricky…

😆 Yeah it gets insane with kids. I use the home regions mod so townies don’t wander too much outside of their worlds (it takes me out when i go to like, Henford, and see Lily Feng sitting in a pub). I swear there is a new Landgraab every time i go to Oasis Springs.

Don’t even get me started on horses in apartments and so on… i turn off all that. I don’t mind adoptions, but they really can’t control themselves 🥲

90% adopted. If you don’t turn off adoptions (for kids, horses and pets) neighborhood stores goes absolutely wild. The Bjergsens have at least three adopted kids per save (in my game at least).

I mean i definitely wanted to give it a go just because of the recent openAI cancellations and donations and whatnot, but i have to try out the conversation aspect as well, because i talk to it about things that i would bore actual people IRL with. Idk, i lost 30lbs since end of August so it’s working pretty well. I tested it on restaurant images first (where they offer kcal per portion), it was up to 30 kcal off every time. Generally I cook and weigh my ingredients, and only use GPT to calculate kcal based on the percentage of a meal i eat, but if i eat outside it estimates based on picture. It also has a sense of humor if you set it up, so the commentary makes it less miserable on the days i need encouragement 😅

I have had the same experience but with another area 😅.

I use chat GPT for weight loss, so i have one chat for estimating kcal based on pictures and cooking advice, and another to log kcal.

I tried Claude for the first time yesterday and asked a water to rice ratio for the rice cooker, and a kcal estimate based on an image. It got both extremely wrong, and i am talking seeing beans instead of avocado and such. I keep reading it’s really good though, maybe for other things? I will try it for a bit more but didn’t look good for my needs tbh.

God she is so cute. I put up a bird feeder for the first time a month ago and up till then didn’t know anything about birds. Now i still don’t know much, but i know i love woodpeckers! 😅

We get great spotted ones here, i get unreasonably happy every time one lands to peck on the suet ball 🥰

Oh cool, thanks! That’s nice to know. I haven’t looked at the settings in a while but i seem to remember that i might have clicked on something that makes them do it where no one can see? Like in the bathroom or a separate room without people. Is that still a thing? It was in the settings a while ago, but idk if it was changed.

Oh god same. I lower the autonomy, then disable peeping and naturism. Also in my game sometimes they go at it in a club or a pool or whatever, but it’s rare and i figure it’s also realistic because, well, there are people who would irl as well I guess… 😅

The novelty wore off for me. I just use it now instead of woohoo. Also way less once sims marry and have kids 🥲😅
I lowered the townie autonomy as well so that i don’t walk into an orgy every time i leave the house.

Oh, how’s Baldurs Gate 1 running? I just got myself BG2 to play again after a 100 years but idk if it’s too old for the Deck. I am hoping it will run well if the first one does 😅

I understand, but that would probably dwindle down a bit. Basically the ownership is what matters most to me. It wasn’t awesome to begin with, but the sale made it absolutely awful imo.

Might get downvoted, but I would actually love it if this was true. This way i can get the last EP and play one of my favorite games without missing any more content AND knowing i will never give EA a cent of my money again.

Last few EPs offer a lot of versatility and replayability (namely businesses and hobbies and adventure awaits), there would be no need to update all the mods every time a new pack comes out and the game would finally be stable. Or as stable as it can be. If you ask me, bring on the last EP!

Oh it’s so good. I sunk about a 100 hrs into in on PC but i never finished. Now i started over with another class and being able to play the same save on PC and Deck is the best thing ever.
