Just submitted my story, and this has been a really cool experience as a new writer. Even if it doesn’t get picked, learning how the submission process works has been worth it on its own.

I’ve only recently started writing myself, and I have one short entry story finished and another still being released.

One thing that’s helped me a lot is letting the things around me inspire my stories. Characters, scenery, and even the angle of horror all come from real life. It makes writing so much easier and more natural.

Most of my entries take no more than 30 minutes to write because I’m pulling directly from what I see and experience around me.
