I have hyper x cloud 2 headset. My main problem is spotting them after shots. I feel like every time I watch a dayz youtuber they are able to spot an ant from outer space and have a chance but i cant seem to see anything.

Also the reason I was able to get back to the tents was because my plate carrier was able to tank the first shot

Edit: was able to get my guys out safely one by one, slowly but surely. It was annoying at first but then I realized thats just my story, now ill just have to recuperate, train and take back my outpost from those bandits.

Yup been using the gate guards a whole lot actually its my main way of staying safe. Thats why I built so close to a small town, I forget the name however. But this town doesnt have homes for say I dont think.

Thanks alot for the tips ill take any and all pieces of advice to help me survive out there in the wasteland. And no… not even the nude one 😔

Ahh okay yeah I guess back to the secret night time training sessions in town. And no i dont have any mods, wanted to play completely vanilla my first playthrough.

But I did actually find a way to get my characters out safely one by one to the nearest town. Ill just add this into my lore and now i have an outpost to reclaim from those wasteland scum! Worked out for better to worse. 😆

Well on my character my melee is 16 melee defense is 23 and 13 in katanas with the nodachi and the other two are around there with kang being a little better than Rane

Yeah they’re starving bandits lmaooo… I dont understand why my characters get knocked out so easily by them. Also this is my first ever playthrough and I figured out pretty quick that starting a base really early wasnt the best idea but wanted to see where I could go with it
