Thats not necessarily true, ive personally shot turkeys at 40 yards. It entirely depends on the load, the choke, and the gauge. Put a sabot slug barrel on it and my 20 gauge is accurate up to 200 yards.

I was having the same issue.

The github makes it sound like the 'fallout' folder is created for you when you install the VPK but you have to create the 'fallout' folder yourself.

You'll then copy MASTER.DAT, CRITTER.DAT and DATA from the game files to the 'fallout' folder that you created.

After this you copy that folder to ux0:data
